We are huge fans of Liberty. This is a team that went on the road to beat Wake Forrest earlier in the year if you remember and won 79-66. This is a squad that only lost to Houston by 2 points (the same Houston team that nearly won the American Athletic and who beat Wichita State and headed to the Tournament). This is a team that is as good as it comes when it comes to defensive pressure and intensity. This is a team that beat Georgia State in overtime who is headed to the tournament and this is a team that scored just 52 points against Radford in their last game and will look to bounce-back here. This team wants to be here at the end of the day as they are thrilled to get a post-season bid, they won 2 post-season games last year as well, they play great defense and as they play North Carolina AT who is outside the top 260 in turnover margin and outside the top 290 in effective field goal percentage, this sets up well for this squad for a big win today.

We roll with the Over here as we think that Miami is likely to be a very good active underdog and push this game over. Remember, Miami lost to this team by about 8 points earlier this year and this is the same team that has shown great prowess on the road in their ability to score. The Heat have produced 128 points in their last game against Washington (who they have revenge against just like they do against the Blazers today), scored 108 against a good Philly defense and put up 123 against New Orleans on the road in overtime. This is a team that time and time again has shown they can be a good active underdog on the road and push the game over. Remember, you have a Miami team here that has revenge, likes to push the ball on the road and with Portland coming off a monumental win over Golden State scoring more than 120 points and frankly routing State, look for them to possibly have a letdown here as Lebron and company comes into town in their next game. Look for an offensive show here as this game likely goes over the posted total this evening.

I like the Heat to get this done. This team is 19-8 ATS in its last 27 games overall and they are 37-15 ATS in its last 52 road games. This team plays excellent defense and I think that they will be able to keep this game close. Miami is 7-2 ATS after a win and they are 4-0 ATS in their last four games after a day of rest. Portland is playing much better now and has won nine straight games. They are coming off a big weekend win over Golden State. But I think they will not be as sharp in this game. The Blazers have b=games with Cleveland and Houston coming up. I don't think they will be as excited about this game and I think it will be a tough slugfest. Take the points in this one.

Tonight in the Moda Center the red hot Portland Blazers welcome the Miami Heat and tonight I see a Portland 'W' with tons of offense. The Blazers should be able to score tonight at home since the Heat again will be without Whiteside. Portland has won 9-Straight games in that winning streak the Blazers are averaging 111.6ppg and we should see a big offensive game again tonight. The Heat has won 4 out 5 games and their last game they scored 129 points against the Wizards and tonight both teams will want to push the tempo and this total flies over.

WE continue to catch fire in the NBA after another winning play cashed for punters.
Here’s our best bets for the action ahead:
Sacramento Kings @ Oklahoma City Thunder
The Thunder will look to make it three straight wins at home when they welcome the Sacramento Kings to Chesapeake Energy Arena.
After dropping the first of their four-game home stand to Houston the Thunder have bounced back well, holding their last two opponents to and average of just 90.5 points.
That defensive intensity will remain a priority for this team heading into the final few weeks of the season, but that could become a lot harder should they lose their starting centre for any period of time.
Steven Adams was forced from the court with an ankle injury against the Spurs in their last start and if the Kiwi is forced to miss any extra time it could be a big blow to the Thunder’s playoff hopes.
Without Adams the team loses a lot of its defensive identity and his ability to protect the rim is a big reason why this team has created such a defensive presence this season. Given they’re already without star defensive guard Andre Roberson, the loss of Adams will leave a huge hole for Billy Donovan to try and plug.
While the Kings don’t necessarily own a paint presence that can capitalise on this situation they do have players who will want to attack the lanes and drive to the basket. If OKC fall into the trap of running the court with these young Kings then we should see a high-scoring game as a result.
Sacramento has scored over 100 points in three of their last four games, and eight of their last 10 overall. This number is a little too inviting for us to ignore and we feel the defensive intensity will be missing from both sides in what could become a shootout in Oklahoma.
Our projections have this one going for a combined 218.9 points giving us great value on the total here.
