7-Unit Play. Take #152 Uruguay (-1.5, -160) over Saudi Arabia (11 a.m., Wednesday, June 20)

Uruguay absolutely should've smashed Egypt in the opening match. They won 1-0 but missed a bunch of quality chances. They also know that they are behind the eight-ball with Russia racking up a 5-0 win over Saudi Arabia, putting them ahead on goal differential. Uruguay wants to win this group because they know it will significantly improve their chances of advancing deep into the tournament. Saudi Arabia was a train wreck in their first match. I don't see them turning that around. This team is overmatched. And they are facing a motivated Uruguay side here. If Uruguay continues to blow chances and if Saudi Arabia plays the game of its life then so be it. But there is no reason that this match should even be close.

We have Uruguay to win the group pretty big and Wednesday early afternoon I see another 3 points going to Uruguay. I can't see Saudi Arabia playing any worse then they did against Russia in the opening game but Wednesday they are playing the best team in the group and I see Uruguay winning this pitch 3-0. Uruguay was not convincing against Egypt but I see Saurez and Gimenez having big games and again La Celeste (Uruguay) win easily and we get closer to cashing our big future bet.

Note that Portugal now has 4 points as of this morning and their 1-0 victory over Morocco. This means as Spain enters this game they are in 3rd place in the group and need a big win over Iran. In a way it is a good thing for Spain to be down in 3rd in the group because if anything they will be highly motivated to win and possibly win going away as they just don't need to win this contest but they also need goal differential to overtake Portugal for the top spot as well. Spain is the same team that beat Argentina 6-1 and Costa Rica 5-0. You will see a sharper Spain defense today and a highly competent Spain offense as usual as they get used to their new coach.

Denmark extended it's unbeaten run to five-matches with their second win in a row, a 1-0 win over Peru in their opening match of the World Cup. Denmark has key wins over Mexico (2-0) and Poland (4-0) in the last two years leading up to the World Cup. Denmark is marking their first appearance since the 2010 World Cup where they went 1-2-0, their only victory a 2-1 decision over Cameroon, losing to Netherlands and Japan. In World Cup qualifying Denmark went 7-2-3 going unbeaten in their last seven-matches. For Australia, this team played more matches than any other side to reach the World Cup having to beat Honduras in a playoff to reach the Finals. Australia lost their first match 2-1 to France to snap a three-match unbeaten run with big wins over the Czech Republic (4-0) and a Honduras (3-1). This will be the third time these two have played with Denmark holding a 2-1-0 record winning the last match 2-0 in a 2012 Friendly.

Horrific is every aspect of the game right now, cannot pitch in the bullpen at all, cannot hit the ocean with a handful of rocks, and getti8ng waxed in the first 2 games of this series by a score of 10-4 ands their starter today is Jacob Junis who has a 7.50 ERA his last 3 games backed by a bullpen with an ERA approaching 6 their last 5 games and KC hitting just .186 as a team. Yes, the Rangers starter (Dirkx) recalled from Triple A has pitched 11 innings this season in the bigs and gives up homers and has over a 6 ERA but how does KC exploit that when they cannot hit the broad side of a barn? The last 65 games KC has played they won 19. Texas is 20-7 the last 27 in this series. KC is 2-15 this month getting outscored 99-36. Just deplorable, and whenever you can fade a team like KC at this number you cannot pass it up.
