7-Unit Play. #472. Take Philadelphia Eagles -3 over Minnesota Vikings (Sunday @ 4:25pm est)

These are the games the Philadelphia Eagles win. They get up for these exact type of games as they get up for the better competition (Patriots) and they play down to weaker opponents (Bucs, Titans). Such is the case here as this team is 2-2 and head back home after a disappointing loss to a very good defensive Tennessee team. Don't hold that loss against Philly as they faced a Titans team that held Jacksonville to just 6 points, so the fact that the Eagles scored as many points as they did was highly impressive. Carson Wentz is also getting his feet wet again and what better way to make a point and show the world that the Eagles are better off with him than Foles who helped beat the Vikings on this very same field? This Eagles offense is substantially better under Wentz, this Vikings team is still probably hung over from their huge back and forth against the Rams (who don't have a great disciplined defense like a Jim Schwartz Eagles do) and consequently, we like the Eagles to beat the Vikings team that remember is not too far removed from a 6 point game against Buffalo. The Vikings are 23rd in Pass Defense and that is the key difference between them last year and this year and the Eagles will be all over their young DB's.

3-Unit Play. #457. Take New York Giants +6.5 over Carolina Panthers (Sunday @ 1pm)

The Giants will play well when you least expect them too (such as beating the Texans) and they will lay an egg when you least expect them too (against the Saints last week). The Panthers are the exact same way as they come off a big win against the Bengals and now face a sub .500 Giants team. You can argue that this is a do or die game for the Giants as the Cowboys look like they are going to have the tiebreaker with the better defense and the Eagles likely to get back on track with Wentz and the Redskins looking somewhat competent. The only team not looking competent is the Giants right now but they are better than their record shows as they had to face some tough teams out of the gates including the Jaguars, Cowboys defense and Saints. We like NY to get back on track here and we like Carolina to have a massive let down after the big Bengals win as we like in particular the Giants Defensive Line to get after Cam in a big way. Doesn't matter if Carolina comes out of a bye, they likely lay an egg here.


3-Unit Play. #465. Take Miami Dolphins +6 over Cincinnati Bengals (Sunday @ 1pm)

The Miami Dolphins could not have played worse last week and have been called every name under the sun this week by the Press. "Pretenders", "Chokers", "Not ready for the big moment", "Patriots Little Brother" and the list goes on and on. This team put up 7 points as the division leader to a Pats team who just throttled them. This is the NFL. These guys have a lot of pride and we like them to get back on track and bounce-back here. The Bengals come off a huge win over the Falcons on the road and now they face a hurt, angry Dolphins team that everyone has counted out. The Dolphins have some talent or they would not be at 3-1 in the best Football League in the World. Remember, they beat a Tennessee team who looks pretty good right now, beat Oakland by 8 points who just beat Cleveland at home in a thriller and beat a Jets team by 8 who the Lions looked hapless against. We like Miami to hang tight here this weekend.

5 Unit Play Take #472 Philadelphia -3 over Minnesota (4:25pm est):

The Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles haven't hit their stride yet this season but I think overall they are very close. Keep in mind this is a team who's starting quarterback Carson Wentz missed all of the preseason with an injury and he's likely just starting to his his stride. Philadelphia went on the road last week and they led for most of the game against what is turning out to be a solid Tennessee Titans team before a couple of miracle plays went against them late and the Eagles ended up dropping a heartbreaker. This is a veteran group that knows how to take care of business which is what I expect them to do here in this one at home.

The Minnesota Vikings have also had a disappointing start to their season. The Vikings haven't looked at all like the same team that made it to last year's NFC Championship game. Most felt they showed a solid effort last week on the road versus the powerful Los Angeles Rams but all things considered I wasn't impressed with what the Vikings did in that game as they allowed an eye popping 10 yards per game defensively in the game. The Vikings have one of the weakest offensive lines in the NFL and that's likely to be a big issue in this one going up against one of the better defensive fronts in the league and one that is likely very upset feeling like they everyone down last weekend letting the Titans come back in that contest.

4 Unit Play Take #466 'under' 48.5 Miami/Cincinnati (1:00pm est):

The Cincinnati Bengals get back Vontaze Burfict for this one after he missed their first four games of the season serving a suspension. The Bengals defense has struggled a bit without him Burfict as they've went above the total in each one of their first four games to start the year. Cincinnati lost their starting center a few weeks back along with running back Joe Mixon as well and then add the season ending injury last week to tight Tyler Eifert in the middle of the game. The loss to Eifert was a big one as the Bengals offense up until that point was rolling having scored 28 points in the first half but ended up adding just 9 more points in the 2nd half after Eifert went out against the bad Atlanta Falcons defense.

The Miami Dolphins started out the season with a 3-0 record overall but they ran into a buzzsaw last week as they were throttled on the road against a motivated New England Patriots squad off back to back losses. The Dolphins defense carried this team to their undefeated start to the season allowing an average of just 17 points per game in those first three contests. They've been without one of their top defensive players in Reshad Jones in their last two games and the Pro Bowl safety will return to action in this game which will help this Dolphins defense a lot here in this one. The Miami offensive line will also be down a couple key guys here in this one.

3 Unit Play Take #462 Pittsburgh -3 over Atlanta (1:00pm est):

I don't think most realize just how far the Atlanta Falcons team has fallen off since the start of this season. There's no doubt this was a solid team before the year but they've been hit harder with injuries than any team in the NFL. The Falcons recent play has some people fooled because they've played their last three games all at home where they have been a much better football team. The Falcons have built their team for their indoor stadium and have struggled when they've had to go on the road having went just 2-7 against the spread their last 9 road games and have averaged just 18.7 points per game away from home during that time compared to the 27 PPG in their last 8 home contests.

Much is being made about the Steelers slow start this year and there's definitely some things to worry about but keep in mind that two of their losses have come against the Chiefs and Ravens, two of the better teams in the NFL this season. They also tied Cleveland in their season opener but that was actually an impressive showing considering they were -5 in turnovers in that game and didn't lose that game. The Steelers have their backs against the wall coming into this one but this has usually been the spot that the Steelers have done well in past seasons. This is a veteran group who should be able to take care of business here in this one.

3 Unit Play Take #476 Houston -3 over Dallas (8:20pm est):

Dallas pulled out a must win last week at home over Detroit in a game that they very easily could have lost as they needed a late drive to beat the Lions. I don't like this Cowboys squad as it's missing two of it's best players right now to injury in linebacker Sean Lee and center Travis Fredrick. These are two of the biggest injuries in the league right now and those losses take what is an average team at best and knocks them down a few notches.

The Houston Texans got their first win of the season last week going on the road and beating the Indianapolis Colts. There's lots of talent on this Texans squad and it looks like it's starting to come together as many of their star players missed most of last year with injuries and they now look to be hitting their stride. The Texans match up well here with a Cowboys team that loves to run the football as the Houston defense has done an excellent job this season stopping the run. Take Houston minus the points here.

3 Unit Play. Take #451 Baltimore -3 over Cleveland (1:00p.m., Sunday October 7)
Baltimore is coming off a big division win last week at Pittsburgh and right now the Ravens are rolling. Cleveland is coming off a horrible road loss to Oakland, which they should have won but didn't and now have to face a hot Ravens offense. Last year in Cleveland the Ravens won 27-10 and look for the Ravens defense to put pressure on Baker Mayfield early and I see the Ravens winning this game by a touchdown. The Ravens are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 road games and the Browns are 5-15-1 ATS against division teams.

3 Unit Play. Take #458 Carolina -6 over New York Giants (1:00p.m., Sunday October 7)
Lets face it the New York Giants offense is horrendous and if the Carolina Panthers can score early this game could get ugly quickly. The Panthers get this game at home and last week the Panthers beat the Bengals 31-21 and the Panthers have covered their first two home games of the season. The Panthers defense have faced two high power offenses (Atlanta & Cincy) and know the Panthers defense goes up against the Giants offense. Sunday afternoon Cam Newton and the Panthers offense will put away the Giants and wouldn't shock me to see the Panthers win this game by double-digits. The Giants are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games against NFC opponents and the Panthers are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 home games.

6 Unit Play. Take #476 Houston -3 over Dallas (8:20p.m., Sunday October 7)
Houston finally got their first 'W' of the season last week on the road in Indianapolis and Sunday night at home I see the Texans winning back-to-back games. The Cowboys won last week at home against Detroit 26-24 but their last two road games they lost to Seattle 24-13 and Carolina 16-8. Deshaun Watson plated well against the Colts last week and if we can get the same type of effort by him and the Texans 'D' we should be able to cash this ticket. Lets face it the Texans defense played much better last week on the road and Sunday night on NBC defense will win this game and I see the Texans winning and covering this small number at home.

This play is from my NFL 411 System.
I love the Ravens in this game. This team dominated Pittsburgh on the road last week. That game was not as close as the final score looked like. The Ravens have outgained all four of their opponents and they look like one of the top teams in the AFC right now. Baltimore's defense is No. 2 in total yards allowed and is in the Top 5 in passing defense, rushing defense, and points allowed. This it he toughest defense that rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield has faced. Mayfield had four turnovers last week against the Raiders. That game was a tough loss for the Browns and this team can't stop blowing games. They blew chances at wins against the Steelers, Saints and Raiders and are now 1-37-1 in their last 39 games! The Ravens are 5-0 ATS in the last five games in this series and they are 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings. Baltimore is 4-0 ATS in its last four games in Cleveland. The Ravens are 13-4 ATS in their last 17 divisional games. Cleveland is 16-35 ATS in their last 51 games and 6-17 ATS in their last 23 home games. The Browns are 10-22 ATS in their last 32 games against the AFC and just 5-16 ATS in their last 21 divisional games. Cleveland has gotten better. But the Ravens are still much better than the Browns and I think that they will dominate the young team and its rookie quarterback. Go with Baltimore here.

Take Jacksonville ATS as my 7-Unit NFL Smash for Sunday. This pick falls into one of my top NFL systems and I have the Jaguars winning this game by 10+ points on the road Sunday. The Jaguars are one of the best defensive teams in the NFL while the Chiefs are one of the worst defensive teams in the NFL. The Jaguars have allowed just 733 total passing yards this season and they are #1 against the pass in the NFL this season. The Chiefs have depended on the arm of Mahomes to get it done, however he has never faced a secondary or defense as good as what the Jaguars are bringing Sunday. I do expect Mahomes to struggle against this Jaguars defense just like Manning and Brady did this season. The Jaguars have also allowed the least number of touchdowns in the NFL this season with 4 TD's against them this season. The Chiefs have allowed 363 passing yards per game this season with opponents completing 66% of their passes against them and 66.7% of their passes against them at home. The Jaguars have allowed just 164 pypg this season and just 3 points per game in the 1st half of games this season, compared to the Chiefs who have allowed 474 yards per game and 14.3 ppg in the 1st half of games this season. The road team is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 games played between these two teams and the Chiefs are just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games when playing on Sunday after playing on Monday Night Football. Play Jacksonville ATS as we move to 10-0 with my NFL picks this season.

3* #453 Jacksonville Jaguars +3 over Kansas City Chiefs 12:00 PM CTThe Jaguars survived a three turnover game to actually still win by 19 points last week against the Jets. Leonard Fournette’s return was short-lived but Jacksonville has matched Tennessee at 3-1 in the South ahead of a pair of tough road games. The Chiefs were in Denver Monday, just barely remaining the last perfect team in the AFC after posting dazzling numbers in the first three weeks and needing a late comeback last week after just 13 points through three quarters. Kansas City out-gained its opponent last week for the first time in four weeks and leaned on the running game with a big night from Kareem Hunt. The short turnaround could be a concern for Kansas City with this likely the best defense Patrick Mahomes has ever faced. Mahomes has been incredibly impressive but he will face rainy conditions in Kansas City as well this week putting his 14:0 touchdown-to-interception ratio on the line. The defensive numbers for Jacksonville are elite across the board holding opponents to 60 percent completions and allowing just three touchdowns this season in the air, while surrendering only 5.8 yards per attempt. The Chiefs in contrast have allowed the second most passing yards in the league while surrendering 7.9 yards per attempt and 66 percent completions. Kansas City has the worst run defense in the NFL allowing 5.7 yards per attempt including allowing 7.2 yards per rush vs. Denver on Monday. Teams that win on Monday night on the road are on an 18-29 ATS run the following week, including 9-18 ATS when playing as a home favorite. The league also admitted they erred in what should have been a delay of game penalty on a critical 3rd-and-long play for the Chiefs at the two-minute warning, a play that went for 35 yards and effectively won the game in Denver. The Chiefs also still nearly surrendered the lead in the final seconds before a Denver fumble in the red zone. Kansas City has great playmakers but this pace isn’t sustainable and Jacksonville is an ideal team to disrupt Kansas City’s offensive rhythm. Blake Bortles has also posted strong numbers while facing several quality defensive teams, completing 69 percent of his passes the past three weeks. Kansas City’s tough early season schedule no longer looks as formidable with none of those teams featuring a winning record and with New England up next this might be the ideal spot to catch Kansas City. Undefeated teams in Week 5 or later that have covered in at least three consecutive games are also 6-14-1 ATS since 2011.
2* #464 Detroit Lions +1 over Green Bay Packers 12:00 PM CTConsidered by most a serious Super Bowl threat, the Packers lost badly in its only road game so far this season while playing very tight games vs. division foes this season, beating the Bears by one with a miracle comeback and tying with Minnesota. Last week everything went right hosting Buffalo with the Bills likely one of the league’s worst teams, playing a rookie quarterback, and coming off one of the bigger upsets in NFL history. Even so the Packers managed just 22 points and had missed opportunities and turnovers. Detroit is in a critical spot at 1-3 and the Lions were sharp at home in Week 3 beating the Patriots in a blowout. Detroit’s last two losses have come by five combined points as the Lions are a promising underdog in most situations and the Lions have won and covered in three of the past five Ford Field games with the Packers. Aaron Rodgers is considered by most the best quarterback in the league but he ranks 13th in QB Rating and his limited mobility right now has led him to be sacked 12 times in four games. He has been held out of practice this week and he is on pace to have the second worst completion rate of his career. Matthew Stafford has seven touchdowns and just one interception the past three weeks while completing over 71 percent of his passes as he will climb up the leaderboard by season’s end distancing himself from the disastrous opening game vs. the Jets.. Both teams have struggled stopping the run while Detroit has been a surprisingly productive rushing team in recent games, posting 4.6 yards per rush for the season with great success behind Kerryon Johnson the past two weeks. The Packers are 3-7 S/U the past 10 road games while 2-5 ATS the past seven games as a road favorite. Green Bay has allowed at least 31 points in eight of the last 11 road games and with the team’s top four receivers on the injury report this week, Green Bay could be a limited team for this division road game.
2* #465 Miami Dolphins +6 over Cincinnati Bengals 12:00 PM CTAndy Dalton came through leading the Bengals to a huge win in Atlanta last week. The offense has been fantastic with over 31 points per game but losing Tyler Eifert is a big blow with Joe Mixon missing the last two games and John Ross and Giovani Bernard are also on the injury report this week. Cincinnati’s defense has allowed points and yardage but also has turned in big plays and a 3-1 September came through a formidable schedule with three of four on the road. Miami’s great opportunity to take command of the AFC East went as it often has with a lopsided loss to the Patriots. The Dolphins are now in a second straight road game but the quality results in the first three weeks shouldn’t be forgotten just yet. Miami has the sixth best run defense in the NFL allowing just 3.7 yards per rush while the Dolphins lead the NFL in interceptions with nine. Miami doesn’t have a lot of sacks but they have had success deflecting passes, always a concern for Andy Dalton as one of the shorter quarterbacks in the league. Cincinnati’s defense has 10 sacks but for only 50 yards while posting only three interceptions and allowing nine touchdown passes. Cincinnati has allowed over 28 points per game including surrendering 68 points the past two weeks. Dalton has received some positive attention this season but Ryan Tannehill is 7th in the NFL in QB Rating and the Dolphins are gaining 8.4 yards per pass attempt. Dalton has thrown the second most interceptions in the league in the league now facing the league-leading defense in interceptions. Dalton might not have much support on the ground in this game with the injured backfield which could mean forced throws into coverage against Miami’s opportunistic defense. These teams know they could be in competition for a wild card spot in the AFC by season’s end as this is a critical game with the underdog points very appealing given that the Bengals could be without four of their top six offensive skill players against a very good defense that just got humiliated in the previous game.

I will gladly bet against Buffalo. This is the worst team in the NFL right now. Tennessee is red hot. They have won three straight games. That includes wins over the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles and the AFC runners up, Jacksonville. The Titans should be able to take advantage of this bad Buffalo team and rookie quarterback Josh Allen. The Titans are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against the Bills and the road team is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings in this series. The Titans are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games overall. Buffalo is going to continue to struggle. Take the Titans.

8-Unit Play. Take #451 Baltimore (-3) over Cleveland (1 p.m., Monday, Oct. 7)
This play is from my NFL 411 System.
I love the Ravens in this game. This team dominated Pittsburgh on the road last week. That game was not as close as the final score looked like. The Ravens have outgained all four of their opponents and they look like one of the top teams in the AFC right now. Baltimore's defense is No. 2 in total yards allowed and is in the Top 5 in passing defense, rushing defense, and points allowed. This it he toughest defense that rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield has faced. Mayfield had four turnovers last week against the Raiders. That game was a tough loss for the Browns and this team can't stop blowing games. They blew chances at wins against the Steelers, Saints and Raiders and are now 1-37-1 in their last 39 games! The Ravens are 5-0 ATS in the last five games in this series and they are 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings. Baltimore is 4-0 ATS in its last four games in Cleveland. The Ravens are 13-4 ATS in their last 17 divisional games. Cleveland is 16-35 ATS in their last 51 games and 6-17 ATS in their last 23 home games. The Browns are 10-22 ATS in their last 32 games against the AFC and just 5-16 ATS in their last 21 divisional games. Cleveland has gotten better. But the Ravens are still much better than the Browns and I think that they will dominate the young team and its rookie quarterback. Go with Baltimore here.

3-Unit Play. Take #459 Denver (+1) over New York Jets (1 p.m., Monday, Oct. 7)
I like the Broncos in this one. They were very close to beating the Chiefs on Monday night. They showed that they are one of the better teams in the AFC. Denver beat the Jets 23-0 last year and they are 5-1 SU and ATS in the last six meetings in this series. The Jets have been terrible since their opening week win at Detroit. They are 0-3 SU and ATS and have been outscored 72-41. The Jets are 1-4 ATS in their last five games and 0-4 ATS in their last four games against AFC opponents. The Jets are struggling behind their rookie quarterback and a very good Denver defense should be able to shut this team down. I had Denver at -2 in this game so there is value here. Play the Broncos.

3-Unit Play. Take #470 San Francisco (-4) over Arizona (4 p.m., Monday, Oct. 7)
The 49ers almost pulled a big upset at Los Angeles last week. I think they will take care of business against the winless Cardinals. Arizona had a great chance to get its first win of the season last week against Seattle. But they missed a 45-yard field goal in the final minutes and then watched the Seahawks hit a 52-yard field goal on the final play. San Francisco has lost six straight games to the Cardinals. They will want revenge. The Cardinals have been terrible on the road, going 2-7 ATS in their last nine games away from home. San Francisco is 4-1 ATS against teams with a losing record and they are 7-2 ATS in their last nine divisional games. This is rookie quarterback Josh Rosen's first road start. I think the 49ers defense will take advantage of some of his mistakes and that will lead to a big win for the home team.

5-Unit Play. Take #472 Philadelphia (-3) over Minnesota (4 p.m., Monday, Oct. 7)
This play is from my NFL 411 System.
Philadelphia has dominated this series. That includes a 38-7 blowout win over the Vikings last year in the NFC Championship Game. The Eagles have won two straight and seven of the last nine meetings. This team is coming off a tough overtime loss last week in Tennessee. But they should have won that game after blowing a 17-3 lead. I don' think that will be the case here at home. Minnesota is winless in its last three games. That includes a blowout home loss to Buffalo, the worst team in the league. They also tied Green Bay and lost to the Rams last Thursday. They should struggle here against the defending champions. Philadelphia is 5-2 ATS in their last seven games after a loss and they are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 home games. The Eagles are 13-5 ATS in their last eight conference games. The home team is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings between these two teams and Philadelphia is 5-1 ATS the last six times they have hosted the Vikings. I think the Eagles will get another hard fought win in this series and the Vikings will continue to sink. Take Philadelphia.

6-Unit Play. Take #477 Washington (+6.5) over New Orleans (8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 8)
I like the underdog in this one. I am calling for the upset here. Washington is coming off its bye week. They have had two weeks to prepare for this game. I think they will have a strong game plan. The Saints have won three straight games. But one of the wins came in overtime and the other was by just three points at home against the Browns. Washington always plays the Saints tough. They are 4-0 ATS in their last four meetings in New Orleans and 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings overall. The Saints defense has been struggling. They are No. 24 in total yards and No. 29 in points allowed giving up 30.2 points per game. Washington's defense is No. 3 in total yards and No. 2 in points allowed. They have been tough all year. Washington is 9-4 ATS in its last 13 games against teams with a winning record and they are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against teams from the NFC. The Saints are just 1-5 ATS in their last six games on Monday Night Football. New Orleans is also just 1-4 ATS in its last five home games. Take the points in this game.

7-Unit Play. Take #451 Baltimore (-3) over Cleveland (1 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 7)
The Browns played much, much better than we anticipated against the Raiders last weekend, but we don't see them playing at that level versus the Ravens. Yes, the Browns are better than they have been in quite some time, but this Ravens team is slowly becoming one of the better teams in the AFC. The Ravens only loss this season was at Cincinnati, which is definitely not an easy place to win. The Ravens have destroyed the Bills and beaten both the Broncos and the Steelers by double-figures. The Browns will absolutely put up a fight for their home crowd, but in the end, they just aren't good enough to beat the Ravens. Also keep in mind that the road team is 12-4-1 ATS in the last 17 meetings between these two teams. Cleveland has done an outstanding job creating turnovers but thus far this season Joe Flacco has only turned the ball over three times (2 INTs and 1 fumble lost). Look for Baltimore to put a ton of pressure on Baker Mayfield creating a few easy turnovers and quick scores. This game is going to be a "knock you in the face" type game but in the end the Ravens win and cover. Baltimore is 4-1-1 ATS in their last six road games and 13-4 ATS in their last 17 games versus the AFC North. Take Baltimore in this one as they are a perfect 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings between the two teams. Ravens win 27-16.

4-Unit Play. Take #458 Carolina (-6.5) over New York Giants (1 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 7)
In years past we felt that the Giants always came to play when they were a dog and everyone was counting them out, but that was years past. This Giants team just isn't that good and they get a Panthers team that is rested and ready. The Panthers have been home since Sept. 23rd and they are coming into this game off their bye. The Giants offense struggled to put points on the board versus a Saints defense, that coming into the game, was giving up 34+ points per game. Look for Carolina to control the time of possession in this game and pretty much dominate from start to finish. The Giants are 3-10-2 ATS in their last 15 road games against a team with a winning home record while the Panthers are 6-1 ATS in their last seven home games and 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a bye. Take the home team here as the Panthers win 23-13.

3-Unit Play. Take #471 Minnesota (+3) over Philadelphia (4:25 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 7)
The Vikings are coming into this game off of two-straight losses. That is quite surprising as this was supposed to be one of the best teams in the NFL. Even though they are 1-2-1 SU we still feel that this is a good football team. Philly hasn't show much to make us believe in them. They are 2-2 SU, and both of their wins have come at home, but one was against the Falcons (a game that the Falcons should have absolutely won) and a four-point win over the Indianapolis Colts. There is no way Vegas could've made a .500 Vikings team a favorite on the road against the reigning Super Bowl Champs, but they should have. Minnesota wins this game outright 24-23.

3-Unit Play. Take #473 L.A. Rams (-7) over Seattle (4:25 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 7)
This is not the Seattle team we are used to. The Seahawks are a home dog and we aren't taking them? That's correct. This Seattle team is nowhere near as good as the Rams. At this point in the season we can argue that the Rams are the best team in the entire NFL. To be honest this line could be double-figures and we would still take L.A. Seattle just cannot protect Russell Wilson. He is going to be running for his life against a Rams defense that is going to be foaming at the mouth to sack him, and sack him again. The Rams are 6-2 ATS in their last eight road games while the Seahawks are 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games. This is just an absolutely brutal matchup for the Seahawks, and in the end the Rams win and cover 27-12.

Analysis:
No, not without Jimmy Garoppolo can the 49ers lay this many points, especially given their battered condition.

San Francisco is 1-11 in their la‡st 12 games when Garoppolo hasn't been its starting quarterback. C.J. Beathard is back behind center with Garoppolo done for the season. The 49ers also are without tailback Jerick McKinnon and maybe their best offensive lineman as Joe Staley was injured this past Sunday.

The Cardinals are 0-4, the lone remaining winless team in the NFL. They are desperate for a victory. The 49ers haven't defeated the Cardinals since Jim Harbaugh was their coach.

Arizona has improved each week. The Cardinals lost at the gun, 20-17, to the Seahawks this past Sunday and were leading the Bears with under five minutes left two weeks ago before losing, 16-14.

The Cardinals are far more competive with rookie Josh Rosen at quarterback rather than timid Sam Bradford. Rosen played a good game against the Seahawks in his first NFL start. He was 15-of-27 for 180 yards with one touchdown pass and no interceptions. He had completions to seven different receivers. His statistics would have looked better if not for five dropped passes.

Rosen faces a 49ers defense that lacks edge pass rushers and has multiple injuries to their secondary.

Lost in the shuffle of how great Patrick Mahomes has been is the fact this Chiefs Defense has to be the worst in the NFL. Mahomes in my opinion is going to be a great QB. This guy is great at eluding the pass rush and turning water into wine. Some players have the ability to turn nothing into something. I do however dislike the hype for the young guy. He has faced bad defenses so far and last week the Broncos really shut him out until the 4th quarter where the flukiest of plays kept drives going and the play clock hitting zero without a penalty happened. I take nothing away from Mahomes, but you are not going to get that luck every week. The Jaguars are a more complete football team and their defense is the best in the league. Can this young QB for the Chiefs beat back to back championship level defenses in two weeks and on a short week? Jacksonville should be able to run on the Chiefs just like every other team has done this year. The Jaguars have already gotten over the hump on becoming an elite team. The Chiefs are almost there and of course have to win playoff games. I think the hype is a little too much. Take the Jaguars.

Yeah, kinda lame. But I guess I kinda see there point if the plays are posted kinda defeats the purpose of paying for them. If scoutspicks say has 1000 paying customers, and they are posted on here, over time they probably will lose a lot of there regular customers. Will always have your good regular ones. always have the freeloaders. I had a service I used that started to not release them until a few minutes before game time, just because they got tired of people posting their picks online. I barely had time to place the wagers, but i guess that was there way to protect their paying customers over the long run, kinda made it more elite. I quit there service because like all of them they were 50% at best Ha Ha
