The Portland Trailblazers are 2-1 on the season and they could very well be 3-0. They played well last time out against Washington but ultimately fell 125-124 to Washington. That led Blazer's stars, Lillard, to say ? the kind of effort we had, we put ourselves in a position to win the game - we just didn't execute on defense and that's the most frustrating?. We expect the Blazers to come out and be MUCH better on the defensive end of the floor against an Orlando team that managed just 93 points last time out in a win against Boston. The Magic are still a team trying to find out their identity as they've won games and lost games scoring in the 90's and mid 110's. The Blazers are good enough offensively to make the Magic work, but the Magic simply won't have enough against a Blazers team that is determined to be better on the defensive end of the floor. The under is 7-2 in the Blazers last 9 vs the NBA Southeast and 11-5 in the Blazers last 16 playing on two days rest. The Under is also 5-1 in the MAgic's last 6 overall and 5-1 in the last 6 meetings between these two squads.

This is not your typical Toledo football team. Late money came in on the Rockets again last week and it failed to cash once more. The Rockets are 1-5 ATS against FBS competition this season. Toledo is one of the least efficient teams in the country. Offensively just 38.7% of plays grade successful, while 47.1% of defensive plays are successful. That is a very wide negative margin for a team playing in a very weak conference. What’s even more alarming is that this team has only played on the road twice all season. The Rockets continue to be beaten at the line of scrimmage, which should be a major concern this week against Western Michigan.

The Broncos despite a 2-5 ATS mark in FBS games, is a team peaking at the right time. Five straight wins for the Broncos and the defense is getting better each and every week. As opposed to the Rockets, this team has played five times on the road, with the only loss coming at Michigan. This line is very cheap as our numbers have the host a double digit favorite.

Baylor is going to be hungover like crazy from that near win against Texas. They were a 2 touchdown underdog to Texas and they fell inside the number easily but that game is very different from this game. You have a team that similar to the Niners if you will of the previous week after Green Bay on National Television, laid an absolute egg in their next game against the Rams which we were all over. Similar to that, WVU comes off getting thumped in their last game for their worst loss of the year - their only loss - losing 14-30 to the hands of Iowa State as a -4.5 chalk. We like WVU to get back on track here with their elite offense and the difference this year is how good WVU is on the defensive side of the ball and we like them to get it done as they are top 30 in the nation in points allowed.
