The Browns and Andrew Luck were a HUGE part of the talking points this summer any time someone took a breath from covering AB. Here we have an almost dream line I could swear has Ashton Kutcher ready to pop out from behind the door just laying HFA.
Vrabel had a game plan ready for Baker's hoopla and executed it to perfection. Delanie then channeled late Denny...and as we say here in Ohio....Browns gonna Brown. I do NOT completely disagree with this sentiment...but the fact Vegas is trying to sneak by lazily hoping that's ALL that happened is (as I say often in my capping) KOOKY TALK.
The Titans defense was flat out studly and Mariota looked not all that bad against a very vaunted Browns D. All week the talk will be of the Browns failure and I'm sure the staff in Nashville is perfectly fine with that...even Delanie giving them more credit for sucking rather than his own team whipping them on the road! Now the Titans come home to face the Luck-less Colts off a tough home OT loss where they really gave it their all for a shocking W.
This line will not be simply HFA for long at ALL in my view and if I were guessing by Friday is already a dead number -5!
The Colts are just in a bad spot additionally to the Titans being home and off a dominating win. Mariota is 2-0 against the Jacoby Brissett version of Indy as well...sweeping in 2017.

7-Unit Play: Take 262 Titans -3 over Colts (1 p.m., Sunday, Sept., 15)

I'm laying the points with Tennessee on Sunday. We backed the Colts and got the cover last week, but it was touch-and-go. Jacoby Brissett played well for the most part but it took a horrible decision by Philip Rivers inside the Colts' 10-yard line, leading to an INT, that kept Indy in the game. The Colts ran well, but the defense did have its issues, allowing 333 yards on 25 of 34 passing. Meanwhile, the Titans were having their way with the Cleveland Browns. The defense played well and we expect more of the same here. Focus on slowing Marlon Mack and force Brissett to make more decisions in the passing game. Indy is also in a tough spot. Teams opening the season with back-to-back road games have not fared well in week-2, covering just 1 of the last 15 times. Look for the Titans to go to 2-0 SU / ATS. The Bengals pased for nearly 400 yards on the Seahawks last game and that is against a pretty good defense. The Bengals are vastly underrated with their new coach and with the Buccs gifting 14 points to the Niners last time, they are not as fortunate this time and they get beat by a solid Bengals defense and offense that is vastly underrated right now. The Niners got lucky last game against a Buccs QB who was green and gave them gifts - they will not find that against Dalton who just faced a highly competent Seahawks defense and nearly beat them in Seattle. I like the Bengals to get it done here and that defense is the key and I think Jimmy G is vastly overrated and that is showing every week. The Bengals with their new coach get their first win here as the Niners are vastly overrated on the offensive end and the Bengals are very sharp with their young talent on the offensive end and whereas Mixon could not get it going against a very good Seattle front, he gets it going big time against the Niners as if Tampa Bay's leading rusher gets 75 on the Bucs front line, imagine what Mixon will get after a bad game against Seattle. Bengals roll.

Manaea v. Hernandez
Hard for me to get down in writing all the various aspects of why this is likely to be such a disastrously easy winner! Manaea came back and this is his 3rd start since...glowing reviews thus far and against much better teams. Hernandez is the kid starting for the Rangers and his metrics without putting all in this box....are RIDICULOUSLY bad.
The A's facing RHP on the road are in the top 4 metrically over the past few weeks while the Rangers lineup still isn't what it once was...and they had a good run early on...but this isn't their season...but it sure as hell is the A's season. The Rangers facing LHP is bad...basically just as bad at home.
I would play this on the ML as well and if we just simply needed the team to win the game it would be roughly a 15% play haha....sadly that is likely useless risk. However, with the road team and a guarantee to get all 9 at bats and Manaea unlikely to give up more than a couple runs....this sure screams 9-2 or 11-3 more than any play on the board!
