Cleveland looks to be in the wrong place at the wrong time here as Baltimore looks to serve up revenge. That should serve them well against a Denver offensive line that is really banged up. The Broncos defense had been the strength of the team but they've given up 400 yards in three of their last four. I think Denver wins but the final score lands inside the number.

The Bengals defense has played well in recent weeks and ranks third in red zone percentage. The Bengals also don't have to worry about damaging their draft status with a two-game buffer for the No. 1 pick, so they can go get this win and pack it in next week.

On the other side, the Steelers defense hasn't given up 300 yards in any of their last five games or more than 17 points in any of their last four. This game is tailor made to be a low-scoring affair.

The Titans are racking up yardage and points with Ryan Tannehill at QB, and the Saints are taking a rare trip outdoors, where they are 4-12-1 ATS in December and January since Drew Brees' second season in New Orleans. I think Titans win outright, but I'll take the three points as well.

Yes they won and covered last week, but it took a late rally to get the win and they had no business covering against Washington. The Eagles should be 0-5 ATS in their last five, and with Lane Johnson ruled out again, Carson Wentz is going to have a tough time against this Cowboys front. Dak Prescott avoided a final injury designation despite practicing little this week, and with him playing, I think the Cowboys continue their dominant run inside the division, where they're 12-1 ATS in their last 13 games.

Seattle showed last week that they can't keep the back door closed, and with Arizona scoring at least 26 in four of their six road games, I'm not worried about them stumbling away from home.

So I'll play that trend here and fade a Falcons team with a coaching staff who could be on the way out, and it's a great spot to go against them coming off a huge road win against one of the league's best teams. The Jaguars are nothing special but I think they can get in the back door against a bad Atlanta defense if needed.

Since 2017, the Under is 14-7 when the Chargers are at home. It's also 11-5 when the Chargers play an AFC West opponent. The Under is 13-3 when the Raiders play within the division the last three seasons as well.

These scenarios NEVER happen in the NFL so I am going to go against teams like this every single time this pops up. The Cincinnati Bengals are on pace to get the #1 pick. This roster has a lot of talented guys who have played together for a long time so their new rookie head coach will be on thin ice next year. Miami is another football team with a rookie head coach. This is the team we thought wouldn’t win a game, but they have three. This team has promise next year. This game comes down to talent on the field. Miami is one of the least experienced defenses you will ever see in the NFL. Most of the guys on the field are rookies or were always backup players in the NFL. I wanted to also take the Over, but the wind is too much today. The Bengals have a solid running back in Joe Mixon and are the better team on both sides of the ball. It’s important for Cincinnati to grab a road win this season. Take the Bengals.

This is a team that lost their coach and offensive coordinator mid-season and there is not a team in the NFL that uses less skilled players so opposing defenses know exactly what this team is doing. They had the ball off to only one guy and target the same four guys over and over again. Indy is coming off an embarrassing loss so the public probably is not backing them today because of that. This is still a talented defensive football team that just so happen to catch Drew Brees on a historic night. This unit will seek redemption and Will Grier is the victim. Take the Colts.

The Cowboys have won 4 straight in this series and can take the NFC East with a win today. Dallas is unpredictable on the road, but in this spot I have to take the team that is loaded with talent against a team that has been hit hard with injuries this year. Nobody on this Eagles Offense scares you down field. This Eagles Secondary has given up long plays to bad QB’s all season. This team is injured and with that just doesn’t have the talent right now to move themselves into the playoffs. The best part about football is you have to indeed play the game and the saying “On any given Sunday” is so true, but you have to go with facts and logic in the NFL over your heart. Dallas is better at just about every position today. Take the Cowboys.

Seattle might be looking ahead to their huge game against San Francisco next week, but they want to keep winning. We will see two excellent QB’s playing against each other that you would never believe were QB’s if you saw them on the street. Both QB’s are almost spitting images of each other and the game would not be the same without them. Kyler Murray has a long way to go to be in Russell Wilson talk, but both are electric and hard to stop. Both defenses have a lot of injuries today and the offenses should have a field day. Clowney being out for Seattle hurts them in the pass rush department so look for Murray to have time to hit his targets. Wilson should dice up this weak Arizona Secondary. Look for a ton of fireworks today. Take the Over.

I'm taking the points with Tennessee on Sunday. The Titans were in a horrible spot last week and we played against them, cashing a 7-Unit ticket on Houston. With that behind them and New Orleans providing Tennessee with plenty of motivation, we expect the Titans to hand the Saints a defeat. Drew Brees was beyond phenomenal last week but that intensity level will be hard to match outdoors on the road. In fact, they're off back-to-back intense contests, with Brees setting the record on Monday, which followed the wild, hard-fought, close loss to SFO. Tennessee is in a must-win mode and while that doesn't mean this is an automatic win, we believe they'll get the job done with the team in the poor spot standing on the other sideline this week. I'm taking the points with the Cardinals on Sunday. Yes, Seattle is playing for a top seed but they're basically 50-50 ATS over the last 2+ seasons at home where they're overvalued more often than not. Arizona has been much more competitive than I thought they'd be before the season began, posting an 8-5-1 ATS mark. I'm a Russell Wilson fan and same goes for Seattle RB Carson. The problem with laying big points with Seattle is that they don't normally blow teams out. The Seahawks have won 10 games by 8 points or less -- unable to consistently gain separation from the opposition. As much as I like the Wilson-Carson combo, the Cardinals aren't too shabby in the offensive backfield either with the up-and-coming Kenyan Drake-Kyler Murray combo looking better by the week. I think this line has ballooned to the point where we're getting value on the home 'dog. I don't love playing the Bears the week after they were eliminated from the playoffs, but I expect the defense to tamp the scoring down a bit considering they rank third in points allowed on the season and have allowed more than 24 points just once all year. The question is whether the Bears can move the ball on an improved Chiefs defense, and while I still have my doubts, they've managed at least 380 yards of offense in each of their last three games after hitting that mark just once in their first 11. This feels more 24-20 than a Chiefs blowout.

There was some hesitation at first, but Derrick Henry being ruled out for the game has swung me firmly to the side of New Orleans. I do believe in the improved Tennessee under Ryan Tannehill, but one of the reasons the Titans have been so successful is that offensive balance. Dion Lewis simply does not force the same commitment from the defensive front seven, and asking Tannehill to do it all against an above average Saints secondary is a tough task, even at home. The Saints are not as good outdoors as they are inside, but they're talented and healthy enough to win this game.

I really just don't think that this New Mexico State team is very good. It certainly is not as good as past NMSU teams, and they are getting a lot of respect here. Their best wins have been against mediocre teams and they have not looked good at all when they've had to step up and face competition from major conferences. Ben Howland lost a lot of experience from last year's squad. But he still has two potential pros in Reggie Perry and Robert Woodard. He's got a lot of size to work with and a tight rotation, so there's not a lot of moving parts. They've handled better teams than the Aggies and I think that they will do so here.

1-Unit Play. Take #796 Boise State (-1.5) over Georgia Tech (5:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 22)
This team can't play without Jose Alvarado. Period. End of sentence. They are hoping he is going to be back by the start of league play, but he won't play in this tournament this week. The Jackets have gotten absolutely rolled in their last three games and their lack of depth and leadership is glaring. This Boise State team is shaky as hell. But they are more experienced and right now I think they are playing with more confidence.

7-Unit Play. Take #798 Washington (-6) over Ball State (9:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 22)
Ball State was a massive disappointment in the MAC last year. Then they graduated their best player and their center. This year it is pretty much the same crop of secondary guys and I don't see anything that much better than last year's below .500 team. Ball State is coming off its best win of the season, an 18-point road win at Georgia Tech. But that Jackets team is off the rails. And I think that win puts Ball State in a bit of a letdown spot here in Hawaii against a talented Washington team. Washington has played in neutral court situations against Baylor (won) and Tennessee (lost) so they won't be deterred by playing a good mid-major on a neutral court here. Over the last 10 seasons Ball State has just two win over teams from major conferences. One was over DePaul (in OT) back in 2011. The other was two years ago when they beat Notre Dame. Beyond that, they have lost their last six games against power conference teams over the past two season by an average of 19 points per game. All six losses were by nine or more. Washington has some pro-level talent and I think that they will flex on this MAC opponent here.

Also, this is an elite Seton Hall defense and I think that they will fall back on that. I think Prairie View is catching the Pirates in a letdown spot here after the big win over Maryland and The Hall may also be looking ahead to the start of conference play after the break. I can see Seton Hall winning this game somewhere around 74-62.
