Denver has played 3-1-1 to the Over following a win and is on a 6-1-1 Over spurt in all games.

Facing a healthy Pelicans team on the road is an entirely different story. Despite this big number, I’ll take the Pelicans to cover.

Meanwhile, the Wizards are a respectable 14-14 ATS on the road and have been tough lately. They forced the Bucks to go into overtime earlier in the week and defeated the Nets by four on Wednesday. I think the Jazz win, but this line is large enough that I like taking the points.

This one looks like a look ahead spot. The Pelicans have a big, nationally televised game against the Lakers at home on Sunday. I mentioned how bad the Cavs are. But they have been playing better. They have won four of their last five games, both SU and ATS, and are coming off wins over playoff-caliber teams Philly and Miami. I think they can find a way to hang around and make this number hold up.

I think it catches up with them here after their big win last night scoring 4 goals in the 3rd period. This is the first game of a home and home set and no one has been hotter then the Flyers at home and they come in rested giving them a bigger advantage as it is always tough to play in Philly. The Flyers are 13-4-1 their last 18 overall, and 22-5-4 at home. Even better Carter Hart has been lights out at home this year and he comes in with a 17-2-2 1.64 GAA and .941 SV% at home. You are going to have a fired up crowd in Philly on a Friday night and a great spot for them to grab game 1 in this home and home. As the game carries on in the later period, I think the fatigue will catch up to the Rangers here, giving the Flyers the edge. Rangers are 1-7 in the last 8 meetings. Rangers are 1-4 in the last 5 meetings in Philadelphia. Flyers are 30-12 in their last 42 games as a favorite.

This is a team that is 10-2 at home and will control the boards tonight. Princeton allows opponents to shoot 50% from the field when they are on the road. This is a perfect opportunity for Brown to make shots in addition to rock solid defense. This Bears team has a bigger and more experienced lineup and should come away with the home win. This is a Bears team that also is awful against the spread. These usually even out over time as Vegas has to adjust the line giving the weak spread team more point value. Take Brown.

Ohio has size, but it’s going to take another year for the players to learn how to use it. This Bobcats team is a little banged up and I just don’t trust their ball handlers enough to create offense against a Golden Flashes team with much more talent at this point. Take Kent State.

Nice 3*Winner yesterday, let's keep rolling today. We roll with the Over here between these two teams as it is likely to be a higher scoring affair. What you have here is a Minnesota team that is still likley to play without Towns today and I think they will likely to play well offensively similar to their last game as this team went into Miami and won 129-126 in a bit of a shocker. Note, this team has plenty of outside shooting right now with the likes of Beasley, Russel, Culver and others and I like them to be a good dog here at Orlando. I'm not saying they will cover as they come off a rare win, but I do like them to push the tempo a lot here since they will be undersized without Karl Anthony Towns. Note, you have an Orlando team that comes off a big 130 points performance against Atlanta, 115 against the Nets and I think they get into a rat race here as it will be up tempo from the onset as this game likely goes over the posted total here as Minnesota and their guards will want to run, run, run.
