Analysis: My math model only favors Kansas State by 9.65 points in this game and the Wildcats are a money-burning 0-6 ATS in their last six home games, 0-4 ATS in their last four games off a double-digit home loss, and 1-6 ATS in their previous seven games overall. Head coach Bruce Weber finds himself in the second year of a rebuilding process after losing the most successful senior class in school history in 2018-19.
Complicating matters for Weber is the fact that he lost his top three scorers to either graduation or transfer, leaving just one player from the 2019 Big 12 Conference title team. Sophomore forward Montavious Murphy, who appeared in nineteen games last season, is sidelined with an injury. Redshirt sophomore Kaosi Ezeagu, who started his collegiate career at UTEP, joins Murphy on the injury list. Promising freshman Luke Kasubke is also out for the Wildcats.
With Kansas State standing at 3-13 ATS after failing to cover the Vegas number in two of its last three games, take Jacksonville plus the points and invest with confidence.

New Mexico is obviously easing into this season. They've had some coronavirus issues delay the start to their season. But these guys have only played one game against D-I competition this year. Their two games last week were against D-II pushovers so it is safe to say these guys have some things to figure out. The Lobos lost their top four scorers and rebounders from last year's disappointing team. They are now relying on a lot of untested journeymen and mediocre role players to try to save Paul Weir's job this season. I don't see it happening at all. Boise State is a team that can turn out people's lights. I am hoping they get Marcus Shaver back for this game. But even if they don't I think they have enough firepower in their backcourt to totally control this game. Boise State could actually be adding pieces in Devonaire Doutrive and Donovan Ivory, two transfers that were just declared eligible. Honestly, I don't even want them to play. Because I've seen enough with the core that Boise State has now to know that they can blow this one open.

By sheer allotment of sports games each week, I have zero doubt Vegas takes proper amount of time to find out just how exponentially better certain mid-major NCAAB teams are to one another when two teams like this face each other. And to take it one step further, can they exactly weigh up how COVID has directly affected the flow of respective teams' schedules? Point and case this match-up. We've done a stellar job at identifying a stacked deck against certain teams where cancellations have created an uneven playing field. Our 7-U win last Thursday with Saint Louis was the standard for exactly that - overwhelming an N.C. State team who forced themselves to play a last-minute game and travelled with just nine players for a live game.

This Missouri State team had its first five games cancelled. The Bears only just played their first game of the year this past week against Division II William Jewell, in addition to a walkover contest against Northwestern State over the weekend.

Little Rock enters this season off a 21-win 2019-20, and the Trojans were ranked in the unofficial Mid-Major Top 25. Talent wise, they are closer to the Top 15. Nine of their top eleven players are back, most notably Markquis Nowell, who is not just the best player on the floor tonight but also one of the better non-power conference guards.

Missouri State was a 16-17 team a season ago, and without three of its top four scorers. At best they are a mediocre team playing in a Missouri Valley league that has completely fallen off the College Hoops radar the last half decade.

Complimenting the aforementioned Nowell, this Little Rock team has production from forwards Nicola Maric (18 ppg and 7 rpg) and Ruot Monyyong (10 ppg and 10 rpg), as well as two reliable backcourt mates in Ben Coupet, Jr. and Marko Lukic.

The Trojans are a veteran and talented group that know how to play together, and they have expectations to be an NCAA Tournament team this season. These two teams are nowhere near each other on the College Basketball spectrum, and I wouldn't blink at a double digit Sun Belt winner. Regardless of margin, Little Rock nabs another win in the non-conference before beginning league play this weekend.

The Steelers have hit a wall after their 11-0 start, with a yards-per-play differential close to zero thanks to an offense that hasn't looked great over the last few weeks and a defense that has had to deal with several key injuries, particularly at linebacker. Still, they're miles better than a Bengals team without star quarterback Joe Burrow. But Brandon Allen actually looked solid last week that was overshadowed by the offense's fumble issues, while the Cincinnati defense has given up just one offensive TD in each of its last three games. With Pittsburgh on the road in a divisional matchup, this is just too many points. The Bengals won't win, but they'll stay closer than this in a low-scoring game.

The Steelers suddenly appear vulnerable, and laying this many points on the road in a division rivalry game is always dangerous. But Pittsburgh is feeling disrespected. The Bengals are very short-handed at several key positions. The Steelers dominated the first meeting and should feast on Ryan Finley, forcing a couple of interceptions while registering several sacks. The Pittsburgh defense is leading the NFL in scoring defense, allowing just 18 points per game. The Cincinnati offense is ranked 30th in scoring. The Steelers are 16-3-2 ATS in their last 21 road matchups in this series.

Glad we waited on this one as the spread has risen to 14.5 points, and I don't think Pittsburgh is 14.5 points better than anyone at the moment. Ben Roethlisberger clearly isn't 100 percent healthy as the Steelers haven't topped 19 points in three straight games. Granted, the Bengals aren't good and will be starting Ryan Finley under center, but he's probably an upgrade on injured Brandon Allen (which isn't saying much). The old adage is that you should always back intradivisional home dogs. I'm certainly doing that at +14.5. Cincinnati is 4-1 ATS in its past five at home.

This game has drawn a total of 40, one of the lowest this season, yet is paired with a colossal spread. Which presumes either the Steelers will end their prolonged slump on offense or the Bengals will flirt with a shutout. Pittsburgh has tallied 19, 17 and 15 points in its last three outings, respectively, and primary RB James Conner (quadriceps) could be in bubble wrap. Sure, the Bengals are down to third-string QB Ryan Finley and have enough players on injured reserve (11) to field an entire unit. But if they can score a couple of touchdowns, or even one TD and two field goals, a cover is foreseeable.

On the other side of the ball, the Bengals will be forced to start third-stringer Ryan Finley at quarterback due to the injuries to Joe Burrow and Brandon Allen. Pittsburgh's defense could outscore Cincinnati's defense. My model says the Steelers cover well over 50 percent of the time, so you're getting strong value at this number.
