Presumably, both clubs will switch goalies in the second of a back-to-back, and Ottawa's Marcus Hogberg (0-4-0, 4.54 GAA) has been quite a bit worse than Edmonton's Mikko Koskinen, who allowed two goals in beating the Sens on Feb. 2. I don't really like this price of -200 on a road team, but I also don't trust Ottawa on the puckline, so we'll have to bite the bullet.

Kent State is off a home loss to Akron but has dropped just two of its past nine and has arguably the best player in the MAC in Danny Pippen -- no relation to NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen. Danny had 34 points and 11 rebounds when Kent State beat Bowling Green 96-91 on Jan. 27. The Falcons enter on a five-game skid and three of those were at home. KSU is 6-1 ATS in its past seven on the road, while BGSU has covered just seven of its past 32(!) at home.

Now that Greg Williams Jr. is back from injury, the Red Storm are legit and on a six-game winning streak and have covered eight in a row. As it was, fellow frontcourt mates Manny Bates and Jericole Hellems had big games in the first matchup. "Their big guys played well last time against us. We have lost our stride in CBB over the last few days after a great 7-2 Run from January 24th to January 31st. Let's look to get back on track today with a selection in the SEC. We have posted +12,500 in March Madness the last 5 years with 5 of 6 Winning March Madnesses and this is the time of year we traditionally do very well, let's look to post a good week. You havea 5-12 team favored over a 14-5 team which is always interesting and sometimes it is not warranted but I think today it is warranted. Kentucky has won this game the last 8 times and of course that will motivate Arkansas which is fine. But, if you watched the Tenneseee vs. Kentucky game, you will know the final score was not indicative of how close that contest was. Tennessee pulled away late but Kentucky hung in that game and even scored 42 points at the half against Tennessee's defense. This Kentucky team has faced 3 straight ranked opponents and lost by 5 to Missouri, 11 to Alabama and has been in ever game they have played except for the first contest against Alabama earlier in the yaer. This game matters as every game from here on out as this team looks to get to .500 in the SEC for a look at other post-seaosn tournaments and not just March Madness and if this team can get it togteher, they can certainly play in March Madness by winning the SEC Tournament. Arkansas is 2-4 on the road in conference play so it is not that they are like road warriors here and Kentucky only had 13 turnovers against Tennessee which is excellent and note that Kentucky shot 45% from 2 point land against Tennesse which is excellent. Arkansas also shot 2/17 from 3 point land against Mississippi State and State also had 17 turnovers which was fortunate for Arkansas. Arkansas also went 10/30 from 2 point field goals and I honestly think Kentucky is doing the small things right here and I think they finally, likely get it done here and win a conference game.

When it comes to the Ottawa Senators, you know you’re going to get some mistakes, you know you’re going to see some inexperience, and you also know you’re going to see plenty of youth; but what you’re also going to see is a complete effort until the final buzzer sounds. The Ottawa Senators have a record of 2-10-1, but the thing is, they weren’t expected to be much better. The Exciting thing about the Senators is that they are very good at turning the page and having a short memory, bringing energy every single night to their games. With young players like Tim Stutzle, Brady Tkachuk, Brake Batherson, Colin White, and many more talented players I expect to see a full effort tonight in the bounce-back spot for the Senators after losing Monday night to the Oilers 3-1.
We’ve seen 3 straight solid and respectable defensive efforts from the Ottawa Senators, two against the Montreal Canadiens and now one against the Oilers on Monday - something I simply think they won’t be able to continue to do. Sens goaltender Matt Murray finally found his mojo but he likely won’t play Tuesday in the second games of their back-to-back spot. As I said, the Senators have been playing respectable defensively but there are still be plenty of dangerous scoring opportunities they avoided that I don’t believe they’ll be able to avoid Tuesday night.
It seems to me that the Oilers are showing some signs of depth scoring, which is like seeing a solar eclipse in the NHL — When you see a name on the score sheet that doesn’t read Connor McDavid or Leon Draisaitl, you have to be excited. With that being said, the Senators have been able to hold off McDavid throughout their past two meetings and I feel that his speed will be just too much to handle and he will be skating circles around this young team.
I enjoy playing overs on second halves of back-to-backs, especially with teams like these two teams, simply because they have the speed, they have the talent, but they may show some fatigue which will cause some turnovers, mental mistakes, etc… I believe both teams get it going early and the shot counts are very high. We also saw a very physical game Monday night and I don’t expect anything to change from one game to the next, if we see another physical game, we should see plenty of penalties which will put two talented power plays to work.

ANALYSIS: This moneyline has come down from a high of -245, so we'll take it as it probably won't get any lower. Vegas is 2-0 at home vs. Anaheim this season and will start Marc-Andre Fleury in net. He lost the No. 1 job last year to Robin Lehner after Lehner was acquired in trade, but Fleury has been terrific so far with a 4-0-0 record and microscopic 1.25 GAA. It's tempting to go with the puckline because the Ducks can't score, but their netminder, John Gibson, is also very good so this may well end via a one-goal Knights victory. Anaheim is just 2-12 in the past 14 meetings.

ANALYSIS: This spread is on the precipice of where I don't think it's great value, but now that Herb Jones (11.9 ppg, 6.0 rpg) will play for the No. 11 Tide, and he was in question, they should be able to win by at least seven. Bama has lost two of three but both were close at ranked Oklahoma and Missouri. The SEC regular-season title is no longer a sure thing, so Nate Oats' bunch should wake up here. Alabama has won five straight in this series by an average of eight points, so that would be just fine by me. The Gamecocks are 1-5 ATS in their last six games as home underdogs.
