Their first game in 23 days happens against easily the stingiest defense in the league (62.4 points per game). Michigan went two full weeks without a practice or group workout. The Badgers will relish the chance to avenge a beatdown in Ann Arbor that was far worse than the 23-point margin suggests.

Arsenal vs. Leeds United picks (Sunday, 11:30 a.m. ET)

Arsenal will aim to arrest a poor run of results when it takes on Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The game pits the Premier League's youngest manager, Mikel Arteta, against 65-year-old veteran Marcelo Bielsa, and it promises to be a fascinating clash. It finished 0-0 when the teams met at Elland Road earlier this season, but Leeds missed several clear cut chances to win that game.

Bielsa's men should be full of confidence as they prepare to travel down to London for this game. Leeds has won three of its last four games, including a comfortable 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Monday. That has seen it climb above Arsenal in the table.

Arsenal Veers Back Into Crisis Mode

Arteta is now facing yet another crisis. He was under intense pressure following a dismal run of results in November and December, but then his team put together a seven-game unbeaten streak. That came to an end on February 2, when Arsenal had two men sent off in a 2-1 defeat to Wolves.

It then put in a poor performance when losing 1-0 to Aston Villa last weekend, and it has now lost 10 out of 23 games so far this season. That is simply unacceptable for a club of Arsenal's stature, and Arteta will be desperate for his team to rediscover the winning touch.

He will welcome goalkeeper Bernd Leno back after a one-game suspension. David Luiz can also start after completing his suspension, but Arteta may decide to play Pablo Mari or Gabriel alongside Rob Holding in defense.

The biggest concerns surround Kieran Tierney and Thomas Partey, arguably Arsenal's best two players. Tierney will miss out, while Partey is a doubt. That means Cedric Soares will have to continue in the unfamiliar left-back role, while Dani Ceballos could come into midfield alongside Granit Xhaka.

Leeds Takes Risks

Arsenal looks weak in defense, but it should have the attacking quality to cause Leeds problems. Bukayo Saka, Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Emile Smith Rowe, Nicolas Pepe and Martin Odegaard are all in contention to start on Sunday, and that represents a wealth of firepower.

The Gunners were dreadful in the last meeting between these teams, as they could not deal with Leeds' energy, but Arteta will have studied that game in detail, and Arsenal should improve this time around.

Leeds is an all-or-nothing team on the road. It has six wins and five defeats from 11 away games this season, meaning it is the only team in the Premier League that has not drawn an away match.

Bielsa is likely to encourage his team to take the game to Arsenal, put the opposition under pressure and take risks in an effort to secure victory. The strategy has been remarkably effective this season, but Leeds has sometimes been caught out on the break. The 6-2 defeat to Manchester United stands out.

Arsenal does have plenty of pace on the break if harnessed correctly, and the likes of Smith Rowe and Odegaard could exploit gaps in the Leeds defense. We could therefore be in for a more open and entertaining game than the last meeting between these teams.

This can be a team that is careless with the ball at times and will miss foul shots, but they do have the talent edge and experience over Tulane. Ron Hunter is a good coach, but his players are made up of a lot of young guys and transfers and I don’t see them winning a physical battle on the road. Look for the Bulls to win on the glass and to get a lot of second chance point opportunities. Take South Florida.

I'm playing on WISCONSIN. While "revenge" is often not as big a deal as many imagine, in this case, I expect it to have an impact. Indeed, the Badgers absolutely have a score to settle. The Wolverines flat out embarrassed them in the earlier meeting. Since then, the Badgers have shown considerable improvement. They won by double-digits at Nebraska last time out. In their last home game, they hammered Penn State by 16, avenging an earlier road loss. While the Wolverines are very good, I believe that the Badgers are catching them at the right time. Michigan hasn't played a game since 1/22. That's a long layoff. Note that the Wolverines lost their only 2021 road game (at Minnesota) by 18 points. Let's roll with Georgia Tech here as Tech comes off back to back conference losses but they are the team with the more likelihood of going to the NCAA Tournament - more than Pitt. Tech has not gone to the Dance in about a decade, so a win here would go a long way. This team remember should have beat Clemson, but it took a last second buzzer beater essentially with 1 second left to defeat them. Their star player who shoots nearly 90% in free throws missed two late in the game and I don't see this team folding here as they rarely lose 3 games in a row this year and I believe their focus will be high today. Pitt is a very good team, that comes off a win against Va Tech and fought Virginia close, but I think the difference here is that Tech has a very senior team, is a team that beat Florida State, Notre Dame and Clemson by 18 earlier this year - as well as a win over North Carolina. Pitt is outside the top 200 in many offensive categories and has a tendnecy to be suspect on the defensive end as well to boot. Let's roll with Tech here as they likely get it done by double-digits.

4-Unit Play. #797 Take Tulane (+5) over South Florida (2 p.m., Sunday, February 14)

The Green Wave have cashed five straight games as an underdog. We've been alongside them for two of them. They won both of those outright. I think they can get this one as well. USF has played just once in the last month, and they've been a favorite going back to mid December. Give me the live underdog here for another.

4-Unit Play. #802 Take Drake (+5.5) over Loyola (IL) (3 p.m., Sunday, February 14)

Drake led at halftime against Loyola on Saturday only to get absolutely worked in the second 20 minutes. The Bulldogs are going to correct that poor finish in this afternoon's game. Drake is now 1-2 over the last week despite an 18-0 start to the season. Sounds silly, but they can't lose both games to the Ramblers if they are going to be considered the league's top team. They'll respond here.

4-Unit Play. #803 Take Marquette (+7) over Seton Hall (3 p.m., Sunday, February 14)

Marquette definitely hasn't been playing well. But their best play this year has been as an underdog in match-ups they've been counted out in. I know Seton Hall is coming off back-to-back road wins, but I don't buy the Pirates as this steady of chalk. I could see this one being a back-and-forth contest played out in the high 60s with it finishing by two or three points either way. Grab the points and the Golden Eagles.
