Both may play Friday, but I still like Edmonton. Oilers stars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl will not go scoreless again. Wednesday's game was tied 1-1 until about midway through the third, so it's not like the Oilers were terrible.

ANALYSIS: These teams just played a very important game in San Francisco on Sunday and the Warriors won fairly easily 113-101 behind 46 points from Steph Curry. His shooting percentages are quite a bit better at home, which isn't a shock as guys get used to their own gym's background. The Warriors have covered six straight at the Chase Center; I'm not giving the 3.5 points but obviously if they cover again that's a win on the moneyline. The Grizz, who beat San Antonio on Wednesday in Memphis, are 1-7 ATS in their past eight after a win. Check the news feed Friday morning for Curry's betting O/U point total -- hint: It will be VERY high.

Chicago pitcher Kyle Hendricks (3-4, 5.27) has very nice career numbers against the Cardinals but has done a lot of that damage at Wrigley Field -- he's just a different pitcher at home overall. This year away, Hendricks has a 6.17 road ERA. The Cards' Carlos Martinez (3-4, 4.35) will be activated off the IL. St. Louis has won five straight at home, while Chicago is 2-7 in its past nine vs. right-handers. We'll take the Cardinals on the runline.

ANALYSIS: The Indians can't hit a lick, but this game sets up incredibly well for them as they were off Thursday, while the Twins had to play a makeup doubleheader in Anaheim, burned through a chunk of their bullpen and then flew all night to get to Cleveland. That's tough. That Twins pitching staff is so taxed that they are calling up Randy Dobnak from Triple-A to start and give Kenta Maeda (groin) an extra day of rest. Dobnak has an 8.11 ERA in 14.1 big-league relief innings this year. Plus a few key Twins are injured (Nelson Cruz, Byron Buxton). Cleveland goes with Triston McKenzie (1-2, 5.79). Not much faith in him, but, again, the Twins' circumstances.

ANALYSIS: How wildly entertaining has this series been? Tampa Bay leads 2-1 but could easily be up 3-0 ... or down 2-1. Thursday's 6-5 Panthers win in OT was one of the best hockey games I have seen in a long time. Have to take the Bolts here, though, at such a cheap moneyline price at home because it's much easier to trust Andrei Vasilevskiy in net than whomever Florida will use in Game 4. In addition, the Lightning haven't dropped back-to-back home games this season.

ANALYSIS: The Bucks should be HIGHLY motivated for this one after the Heat knocked them out in five games in the bubble playoffs last summer. Miami was the better team, too, even before Giannis Antetokounmpo was injured. Milwaukee has Jrue Holiday now, though, and Tyler Herro went nuts in the 2020 playoff and hasn't been near the same guy this season. Disregard the 2021 regular-season series (Bucks won 2-1) as Jimmy Butler didn't play in any of them. There should be a solid home-court advantage with a season-high 50 percent capacity allowed in Milwaukee. Previously, it was 18 percent.

San Francisco goes with lefty and former Dodger Alex Cobb (5-0, 1.75). L.A. has fared a bit worse vs. southpaws this season and that lineup is missing Corey Seager, Cody Bellinger and AJ Pollock. I'll gladly take the Giants on the runline in the first meeting between these bitter rivals.
