Analysis: I am betting this with the assumption that the Giants will not have Darius Slayton or Sterling Shepard for this game. Yes, I am concerned about the Giants offense in this one but the Giants still do have some serviceable weapons (Barkley, Golladay, Engram).


This is more of a fade of the Saints, who absolutely can not be laying this amount of points to a team not named the Jags, Texans, Jets, or Lions.


The Saints offense ranks 29th in 20+ yard plays and 29th in yards per passing play. Jameis Winston has not thrown for more than 148 yards in any of his three games this season. This is a run first, defensively led football team that has a very thin margin of error when they are required to win by margin.


The Saints have injury issues of their own. We are all aware that they have arguably the leagues worst wide receivers/tight ends due to the Michael Thomas injury, but they are also without star LT Terron Armstead and C Eric McCoy. Defensively, they are still without DE Marcus Davenport and DT David Onyemata.


The Giants have been profitable as an away underdog under Joe Judge, going 7-1 ATS in that role.

Analysis: Similiar to my feelings on the Saints, the Titans are just not a team you want laying this type of points, especially when considering the injuries the Titans are dealing with at wide receiver.


The Titans have as little depth as anyone at pass catcher, and they will likely be without star WR A.J. Brown this week, and could also be WR Julio Jones. The one area of defense the Jets have recently been strong in is their rush defense, and this year has been no different, as they are allowing only 3.8 YPC after allowing only 4.0 YPC last season.


Zach Wilson looked good in the preseason, but obviously has looked awful this season so far. A lot of that can be attributed to the Jets porous offensive line going against three of the better pass rushes in the league and exposing Wilson's inability to handle pressure. The Titans pass rush and defense is by far the worst unit that Wilson will play against YTD.

Obviously a great spot for KC, and the Eagles offensive line is starting to crumble with 3 starters out due to injury and the remaining 2 starters being limited in practice on Wednesday. Not much needs to be said about the KC side. This is still the AFC'S best team, in a max effort and focus spot, against a team that will likely be picking in the top ten this season who's dealing with cluster injuries.


We also have the Seahawks in a similar huge spot that we find KC in, and the big edge that we should have with Seattle is Russell Wilson, who's on pace for career highs in most major categories and currently leads the NFL in yards per attempt. San Fran has had problems with mobile quarterbacks who can evade their pass rush and pick on their secondary in the past. San Francisco's secondary will be tasked with covering D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett without their top corners Jason Verett, Josh Norman, and K'Wuan Williams due to injury.

Take Baltimore ATS as my top NFL pick for Sunday afternoon. This pick falls into one of my top NFL systems and I expect a dominant victory from Baltimore on the road here Sunday as they are hands-down the superior team on both sides of the ball. Denver has played nobody this season with wins against the Giants, the Jaguars and the Jets who are 3 of the worst teams in the NFL so obviously Denver has looked great defensively. That was a very tough spot for Baltimore last week against Detroit coming off a thrilling victory against Kansas City however now you can expect them to come ready to play at Denver Sunday. Baltimore also gets back some key players for this game on both sides of the ball and Lamar Jackson will be good to go after getting needed rest this week. Baltimore has averaged 27.3 points per game this season and 424.7 yards per game while averaging 6.9 yards per play and those numbers would increase significantly if they played the cupcake teams that Denver has this season. Baltimore has averaged 185 rushing yards per game and 239 passing yards per game this season and this Denver defense will get a reality check this week as they are deftly not as good as they appear on paper. Denver's opponents have converted 38.9% against them on 3rd downs this season and that was against 3 of the worst teams in the NFL so you can expect Baltimore to get a boost offensively here Sunday. Analysis: There's no doubt about it, the Bears offensive performance was arguably the most putrid games we have seen in years. However, this is a massive over reaction to assume that the Lions and Bears are close to equal teams at the moment.


Just last week, the look ahead on this line was Chicago -6. Just two weeks ago, the Cincinnati Bengals were getting the same amount of points in Chicago, a game that the Bears won by 3 and were up 17 at one point in the fourth quarter. The Bears pre season win expectation was 3 wins higher than Detroit, and Chicago.


Detroit is still the bottom tier team they were projected to be before the season, if not worse after losing both their starting corners, their top wide receiver, and left tackle to injury.

The only thing keeping this from being an 8-Unit NFL Game of the Year is the fact that Dallas played and won on Monday Night Football. I normally wouldn't touch a MNF team off a win in general (or would bet against them), but that's how much I like Dallas here. Carolina can talk all it wants. But the Panthers are not the same team without Christian McCaffrey. And I have been waiting for Sam Darnold to revert, so now that he doesn't have C-Mac to lean on I think that 2-3 interception game is coming. Carolina is off to a solid start. However, they have played Zach Wilson, Jameis Winston and Davis Mills in their three games so far this year. Not great. I think Dallas has looked really, really good. And as opposed to the Panthers the Cowboys have played three very good teams. You could argue that they should've beaten the Bucs in Week 1 and be 3-0 right now. Dak Prescott is absolutely dealing right now. And the viability and explosiveness of this offense is taking pressure off the Dallas defense. I was absolutely stunned that this number didn't spike up to 5.5 or 6.0 this week so I love the value here. I don't trust that idiot Mike McCarthy further than I can bowl him. But even he shouldn't be able to screw up the talent edge that he has in this one.

Last week the Eagles made me look like a dumb dumb. Dallas was missing almost everyone on their defensive line and they were missing key backups. I am not the head coach of the Eagles, but since that’s his job you would think he would attack them and run the ball right at them, but he ran the ball an NFL record low 3 times. Carolina is not going to make that mistake today even without Christian McCaffrey. The Panthers now have decent backups and should be able to move the ball on this front seven. Dallas is playing well on offense as they have a legit 1-2 punch with Elliott and Pollard running the ball which will soften up this coverage and allow Prescott to attack this super thin secondary that just put two starters on IR this week. The Cowboys have a lot of offensive weapons that should get their team on the scoreboard. This should be a fun offensive game with each team exploiting the others defensive shortcomings. Both of these NFC non-division opponents are 1-2 to start the season. Washington (1-2 SU, 0-3 ATS) just got crushed by the Bills 43-21, failing to cover as 7-point road dogs. On the flip side, the Falcons (1-2 SU, 1-2 ATS) just secured their first win of the season, beating the Giants 17-14 and winning outright as 2.5-point road dogs. This line opened with Atlanta listed as a short 1-point home favorite. The public is split down the middle and doesn't know who to back. But we've seen the Football Team flip from 1 to -1.5, signaling sharp "dog to favorite" line movement in their favor. Washington has value as a buy-low 0-3 ATS team who the public is down on. Road favorites off a loss against teams off a win are 78-54 ATS (59 percent) over the past decade. Also, teams coming off a blowout loss of 20-points or more are 5-1 ATS this season and roughly 54 percent ATS the past decade. Clay Martin, the lead ref, is 32-14 ATS (70 percent) to road teams historically.



4:05 p.m. ET: Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams

This NFC West clash features a pair of undefeated teams looking to secure the top spot in the division. The Cardinals (3-0 SU, 2-1 ATS) are coming off a 31-19 win over the Jags, covering as 8-point road favorites. Meanwhile, the Rams (3-0 SU, 2-1 ATS) just dominated the Bucs 34-24, winning as 1-point home dogs. This line opened with Los Angeles listed as a 6-point home favorite. The public is happy to ride the high-flying Rams at home laying a short number, especially after their big win over the Bucs. However, we've seen Los Angeles fall from -6 to -4. This non-conference matchup is one of the most lopsided games of Week 4. The Steelers (1-2 SU, 1-2 ATS) have dropped two straight after upsetting the Bills in Week 1, falling to the Bengals 24-10 last week and losing outright as 2.5-point home favorites. On the flip side, the Packers (2-1 SU, 2-1 ATS) have rebounded from a Week 1 loss to the Saints to win two straight, including an impressive 30-28 win over the 49ers last week, winning outright as 3-point road dogs. This line opened with Green Bay listed as a 7-point home favorite. The public sees an easy win and cover with the red-hot Packers against the ice-cold Steelers.. However, despite this lopsided betting we've seen the Packers fall from -7 to -6. This signals some sharp reverse line movement on road dog Pittsburgh in the ultimate buy-low spot. Dogs with line moves in their favor are 59 percent ATS over the past two seasons. Mike Tomlin has done well in his career as a dog, going 39-19 ATS (76 percent) when getting points with the Steelers. Scott Novak, the lead ref, is 41-28 ATS (60 percent) to the road team.



8:20 p.m. ET: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New England Patriots

This Sunday Night Football showdown will break records for ticket counts as it marks Tom Brady's highly anticipated return to Foxboro and his first game against Bill Belichick since leaving the Pats. The Bucs (2-1 SU, 1-2 ATS) just suffered their first loss of the season last week, falling to the Rams 34-24 and losing outright as 1-point road favorites. Similarly, the Patriots (1-2 SU, 1-2 ATS) are also coming off a disappointing loss in Week 3, losing to the Saints 28-13 as 3-point home favorites. This line opened with the Bucs listed as a 5.5-point road favorite. Pros and Joes are both rushing to the window to lay the points with Tampa Bay, steaming the Bucs up from -5.5 to -7. If you're late to the Bucs party and missed the early move, the Patriots have incredible value as a buy-low inflated primetime dog at 7. Roughly 95% of bets across the market are on Tampa, making them one of the most popular public plays in recent memory. The Patriots are one of the biggest contrarian plays we've seen in years.
