Starting the season 12-0, Georgia looked invincible. They then ran into Alabama in the SEC Title game and got crushed. Don’t think that the team knew they would make the CFP either way, that they didn’t try. And don’t overthink Bulldogs head coach just can’t beat Crimson Tide head coach and mentor Nick Saban. Georgia has weaknesses and they were exposed. And coming back from the Alabama beatdown psychologically won’t be easy.

Making head coach Jim Harbaugh a clever guy and he will take a page from the SEC Title game. Giving a striding team riding a five-game win streak (both SU & ATS) more than a touchdown is a gift. Georgia deserves their praise. However, the pressure is all on their shoulders. Michigan has the offensive personnel to keep the UGA defense busy and the defense to frustrate the Bulldogs “O”. Give me the Wolverines and the points here since this is going to be a motivated and prepared Michigan team. This is their first trip to the playoff so they will be fully focused on the football and they have had plenty of time to get over their big win against Ohio State. Michigan was 11-2 ATS this season and in their 2 underdog roles they soundly beat Wisconsin and Ohio State. Georgia had a great season until their loss in the SEC Championship game where their defense was finally beaten - you know the Wolverines will be pouring over that tape to devise their game play here. New Years Eve Card has our Bowl Game Of The Year in Late Afternoon action long with a big Orange Bowl Play, NBA and NCAAB. Sun Bowl Comp play below.

The Sun Bowl Comp Play is on Washington St at high noon. The Cougars have had a nice season considering the coaching carousel. They get Central Michigan here who agreed to play the game and ended up on a 4 game win streak. The Cougars just polished off Washington by nearly 40 points and they have covered 8 of 9 and the last 4 after allowing 275 or less yards. The Chippewas are 0-4 ats as a bowl dog and 0-7 ats after allowing less than a hundred on the ground. To tie in a nice bowl system. Bowl favorites off a road favored win scoring 37 or more and a prior home win scoring 34 or more have covered over 85% long term vs a team off a home win. Well its 3 AM and 14 is finally here and it was something we have waited for. That was our number to bet Cinci. Just like yesterday when we bet South Carolina and had 10 points our number was 8 ½. However, you saw that number sore to 13 by gametime. Well you might even get 15 by gametime here but we have our number and we live with that. If anything new clients that bought our CFB Bowl package can learn is like in any aspects of life the saying is stick to your guns. That works for gambling once you have a system. Anyways I digress. Total contrarian play here for us as everyone on Alabama and we had this number at 10 ½. If it wasn’t such a big game, we might have made it a larger play. However, that little poke in the back of the head says what if Alabama does what they did to Georgia. If that happens we lose our bet. Saban is of course a genius and very hard to bet against him with time to prepare, but for us its 14 points and the back door will be WIDE OPEN. Recency bias has everyone seeing Alabama crush Georgia but I remember that Alabama was a 6 ½ point dog in that game. Alabama this year, besides that last game, tends to play down to their competition. Prime examples of Auburn/Florida/Arkansas and LSU all played them tough and Cincinnati would be favored over every one of them. Is this a tough task for the Bearcats to win? Yes, for sure but with everyone on Alabama and a Cincinnati team to a man that has heard forever that they should not be here, puts us on the HUGE UNDERDOG.

So lets get the job done with the Cincinnati Bearcats.

This line has stayed solid on 7 ½ and we were hoping to see a bunch of Georgia money come in but now we are a touch worried this goes down by gametime. Of course we all know trying to get the right number is of the utmost importance. Our 5% winner on Wisconsin last night is all the proof you need. This game to us seems like it is definitely one possession but we would not be shocked to see Michigan win. The SEC has not been the conference that they were in the past. They are having a rough Bowl Year and sometimes we get the eye test wrong on these clubs. That is what we have here. Georgia has a great Defense ranked 2nd in the country. However, Michigan is no slouch at 12th. We can all agree this game comes down to who makes the plays on offense but there are two other tangibles that we like on the Michigan side of things. HC Harbaugh has had a month to prepare for this one (27 days to be exact) and his club has a ton of momentum from beating Ohio ST and Iowa. Total opposite for Georgia who had their ass handed to them by Alabama and for us just can’t trust Kirby Smart in a big game. Facts are facts. One more thing Dan Lanning the DC became Oregon's HC and even though he is assisting that’s is just not a good thing to us. Oh ya we are getting 7 ½ points in a game that we had Georgia 4.

So lets get the job done with the Michigan Wolverines.

What a great year it was for the Bearcats but this game is going to be a huge reality check for them. Alabama is not a typical American Athletic Association team that is for sure and you know they will be very ready here since they got new life in the playoff after beating Georgia in the SEC title game. Alabama has a very strong offense and you know coach Saban is very in tune to how to prepare for a semi-final game. Cincinnati is in uncharted territory here and they may be a bit over confident after winning all their games and getting a win over big name Notre Dame. Lay the wood with Alabama here.
