The Astros have too big of an advantage on the mound to only be -130 favorites tonight. Framber Valdez went 11-6 with a 3.14 ERA in 22 starts last season. He has been dominant in two road starts this season, going 1-0 with a 0.93 ERA while allowing just one earned run in 9 2/3 innings.

Both of these teams are simply playing out the string at the end of a disappointing campaign. I believe the Blackhawks are better-positioned to pick up the win on Monday. Philadelphia is coming off a 4-1 win over rival Pittsburgh yesterday. That marked the Flyers second consecutive victory. I don't need to tell you that winning streaks have been few and far between for Philadelphia. The Blackhawks are back home following a 1-2 western road trip. This is likely their best opportunity to notch a win over their final three games of the season. Here, we'll note that Philadelphia is 0-7 when coming off a win over a division opponent this season, outscored by 2.4 goals on average. The Flyers are also a woeful 1-11 when coming off a game in which they allowed one goal or less this season, outscored by an average margin of 2.0 goals in that situation. Take Chicago.

I think we are getting some great value with the UNDER at 9 in Monday's matchup between the Dodgers and Diamondbacks. I think we have a really good pitching matchup in this one.
Arizona will have Merrill Kelly on the mound. Kelly is off to a stellar start to the 2022 season. He's got a 0.59 ERA and 1.174 WHIP with 18 Ks in 15 1/3 innings. Given Kelly has a 1.71 FIP and 2.65 xFIP, there's every reason to believe he will keep firing away.
Walker Buehler will get the rock for LA. He's not had the best start to the season with a 4.02 ERA and 1.468 WHIP in 3 starts. He's going to get this figured out. Arizona seems like the perfect opponent to help him get on track. Diamondbacks are hitting .189 as a team thru 16 games. Buehler is 4-0 with a 2.24 ERA and 0.871 WHIP in 11 career starts vs Arizona. Give me the UNDER 9!
