She was gunned down in the shadows of the winning post at the Pakenham 1400m two starts back when beaten a long neck on the line and went down by a pimple at Bairnsdale last time out. The Real Impact mare may not get a better chance to break her maiden then what she gets in this and despite drawing barrier 13, if Luke Nolen can lob her midfield with cover, Wahoo Flyer looks a clear best bet of the day.

NEXT BEST AT PAKENHAM: Blood Oath

Following a narrow victory in BM70 grade on at this track and trip on July 28, the fact the Enver Jusufovic-trained Blood Oath steps back to BM64 grade on Monday makes him a great bet. The eight-year-old gelding was held up for a run until the final 150m on that day and really had to dig deep to get the win on the line. He is a genuine Pakenham Synthetic 1200m specialist, boasting a career record of 5: 3-1-0 at the track and trip and from barrier 11, getting caught in traffic in running should not be an issue. He does need to carry 62kg following Matthew Chadwick’s 3kg claim, but with race fitness on his side, it should be no hinderance to his winning chances. The $3.30 on offer with some online betting sites is simply too hard to ignore.

GRACEFUL KITTEN - Comparing how the horses in this field have fared under similar conditions, I see this horse has the highest speed figure for the distance and surface. I'm focusing on the class of this thoroughbred, and this one is the 'classiest' of the bunch. You should ignore that last race at Mountaineer Park on a sloppy track where he finished out of the money. Should do well right here on a fast track. Ranks highest in earnings per race. A solid try right here can increase the lifetime bankroll. PAT DADDY - Gelding shipped to this track and won; now goes for two in a row. I have to believe that this shorter distance should help this gelding. This gelding's last speed rating is good enough to win here, I'll bet on him right back this time.
