I like what I saw from Ryne Nelson in his first start for the Diamondbacks. He pitched 7 shoutout innings with 7 K's and only four base runners allowed in a 5-0 victory over the Padres as a +200 underdog. The Diamondbacks have proven they can get to Tyler Anderson of the Dodgers. Anderson has posted a 5.57 ERA and 1.461 WHIP in 14 career starts against them.
This also feels like a letdown spot for the Dodgers after winning their final two games in their series with the Padres over the weekend. The Diamondbacks will have no problem getting up for the Dodgers, and the value is too good to pass up tonight. Arizona is 5-1 in its last six Game 1's. Bet the Diamondbacks Monday.
