JANISTHEBEAUTY - Ran in the last race against a higher rated class of horses at Evangeline Downs. The move down the class scale should suit her well. Ranks number one in (EPS) earnings per start. A solid try in this field can add to that total. B B GUN BULLSEYE - Personally, I wouldn't worry about where she finished in her last race (fourth). Should improve today, with some decent odds. Filly has shown some pace. This shorter trip should be better for her. You have to like that most recent race speed rating, 50, which is the best most recent race speed figure of this group. KATIE'S C - Castillo and Mojica getting together are a horseplayer's friend. Likes to go to the head of the pack and the fact that today is a shorter distance should help. Just missed hitting the board on Feb 2nd at Delta Downs. With respectable odds today, she has my interest. Don't throw this one out due to her last affair at Delta Downs where she finished fourth in the slop. Expect better today.

ASHLEY'S GIRL - You always figure that this horse has a shot to win, but she fails regularly. Disappointing speed figure in the last race at Delta Downs at 7 furlongs. Don't think this less than sharp equine will improve too much today. PARAMOUR - Don't believe this racer will make a winning move in today's event. That last speed figure was quite unimpressive when compared with today's class figure. TENPINS TEMPEST - This racer ran her best speed rating in awhile. May bounce and run poorly off that struggle.

I think LADY LANA is a decent choice. Should best this group here, showing very strong figures of late. Well above average win clip at this distance/surface. This pony could stun this field of horses at a nice number. A THOUSAND DREAMS - As of late Hernandez has been on fire which may give the edge to this mare. Must be carefully examined in this contest if only for the respectable Equibase Speed Figure recorded in the last contest. FAST TO FORTUNE - Has a solid record at the distance and surface, which makes me like this mare. Will likely be one of the leaders of the group going into the midpoint of the contest.

Could best this group of horses in this race based on the speed rating - 76 - of her last outing. Her 57 average has this filly with among the strongest speed figures for this event. RUNLIKEJACKIEO - Could provide positive profits based on very good recent speed figures with an average of 59. Has very good early pace and will probably fare solidly against this field. MOBIL CHIC - Zielinski and Barbaran have a very good win percent together. The duo of Barbaran/Zielinski has one of the most respectable ROI percentages in this field.

HOPEFULLY ICU - Faced tougher last race out at Penn National. Based on Equibase class ratings, this is a weaker field, so I will put this one on my list of strong contenders. That 44 fig this filly earned in her last event tells me she's a big time player today.
Vulnerable Contenders: #3 KAZ LUCKY NUMBERS (ML=5/2), #4 WIN FOR LAILA (ML=4/1), #5 PEACEMON (ML=5/1),
KAZ LUCKY NUMBERS - Hasn't raced or had any morning drills since February 10th. Not much value on this probable favorite. Most unsatisfactory speed rating last time around the track at Penn National at 6 furlongs. Don't feel this horse will improve too much today. WIN FOR LAILA - Doubtful that this horse will finish better than she did last time when finishing fifth. Mediocre speed rating last time around the track at Penn National at 6 furlongs. Don't feel this vulnerable equine will improve too much today. PEACEMON - Awfully hard to play this mount when she hasn't been showing any gumption recently. No accomplishments for this pony in a sprint event over the last couple months tells me that this filly is in a thorny situation
