Arizona starter Zac Gallen struggled in the postseason, while Rangers starter Nathan Eovaldi looked great. Arizona struggled offensively in the final month of the season, so it’s remarkable they got this far. Texas is better offensive, and their bullpen has stepped in the postseason. My AnalysisI don't know how this isn't a blowout.

It's not often on a stage as big as the World Series that a pitcher has a chance to make history.

Well, Nathan Eovaldi has that chance tonight.

No pitcher in the history of the baseball playoffs no pitcher has won 5 playoff games.

He is 4-0 with a 2.42 ERA and is coming off the gem at Houston in a game he went 6 1/3 inning allowing just 2 runs on 5 hits in the 9-2 Rangers win.

Now he faces a D'backs team he is 3-0 against with a 2.78 ERA in 8 career appearances (5 starts.)

I like my chances with this man to make history tonight.

The D'backs turn to Zac Gallen.

It hasn't been a great post-season for Mr. Gallen.

He lost twice to the Phillies allowing 9 runs on 14 hits, including 5 homers.

As hot as these Rangers bats are going, it isn't going to be Gallen who shuts them down. Not tonight.

Game one tonight is a 4-run blowout by the home team and Bruce Bochy and the boys take a 1-0 lead.
