I give the nod to GOLIAD here. Has to be given consideration against this field displaying strong figures as of late and an average speed figure of 106 under similar conditions. With a strong jockey who has won at a quite good 17 percent rate over the last 30 days. This has to be one of the top picks. Kimura will probably be able to get this gelding to break out quickly for this event. CROSBY BEACH - With one of the strongest jockeys in terms of dividends at the window, don't count this gelding out. With a very strong 109 Equibase speed fig last time out, will definitely be a factor in this contest. CASTLE LEOCH - Win percentage one of the top in this field. Should be carefully examined - I like the figs from the last contest.

Look for a chance at a big improvement from the most recent race on the grass. CAVU - The last speed fig of 76 is the highest last race rating in the group. I always like to see a filly getting Lasix for the second time. This one fits the bill. BRODERIE - Rios rode this racer for the first time in the last race and comes right back today. I expect a big performance from this filly today. She ran a huge race at big odds when she made her debut on Aug 5th. Can't help but like the 2nd time addition of Lasix by the trainer today. That indicates to me Abreu thinks she can win.

STREET CHARITY - Not probable for this horse to make an impact with no recent success in a short distance contest. SUPER SPIN - Difficult to take this questionable contender at the price after the result (fourth) in the last event. MARILYN - You always believe this horse has a shot to win, but she falters often. Finished third in her most recent effort with a somewhat easily forgotten speed figure. When I look at today's class figure, it would take an improved performance to prove victorious after that in this field.

STORMING CHROME - Toledo and McKenzie perform well when they combine forces. It's hard to beat a +98 ROI for a jock and conditioner. A horse coming back this quickly after a nice race is a good signal. GAMBLING TZAR - This gelding is in good physical condition. Ran third on December 16th. Rosado rode this animal for the initial time last time out and comes right back this time around. The 80 latest race speed figure looks mighty good in the TrackMaster PPs. The improved speed ratings over the last three races is solid. Morici drops him in this event ready to go.

ROAN BURGUNDY - This gelding hasn't been showing me anything in the last couple of races. You should normally gamble against probable favorites that haven't raced or show no activity in the morning over the last two to three weeks. MY MAMBA - Doesn't seem to have enough good qualities to justify the price.

BEL AMI - Equibase speed figures on the turf point to this entrant as a legit contender. Has the best in the field for this dist-surf. He'll most likely come from deep to circle the field and should be in fabulous shape to be the winner. There's something to be said for a change of surface. Last race this equine didn't like the terrain, but if you look two back on the inner turf at Belmont Park, there was a great effort. I look for that again today.

Vulnerable Contenders: #3 SOLOMON VANDY (ML=5/2), #2 REGIMENTAL (ML=4/1), #12 ACTIVE DUTY (ML=5/1),

SOLOMON VANDY - This gelding likely won't be really close at the wire. REGIMENTAL - This mount didn't do much last time finishing sixth. No reason to expect any improvement in today's event. ACTIVE DUTY - Didn't hit the board on November 22nd at Churchill Downs. Followed it up with another lackluster outing. The speed fig in the last race doesn't fit very well in this race when I look at the class figure of today's race. Mark this horse as a questionable contender.

We've got a vibe HANDSOME HARVEY is going to get the win. Could be the most solid in the race here, showing nice ratings of late. Avg speed is a solid 86. This gelding has been racing versus some of the most competitive horses in this race most recently. Plano is racking up the wins recently. Excellent win clip makes this horse our pick. A MAJOR OMEN - Has the look of a profitable play, averaging a rather good 86 speed fig. That 82 speed rating clocked in the most recent gathering puts this nice horse in the mix this time. RAGGED BUT RIGHT - When the starter calls, nice horses coming out of the 5 post have more wins than normal. Could very likely dominate this group given the 83 speed rating achieved in his most recent outing.

The Key: The Tennessee Titans have been very competitive at home this year. They are 4-3 SU & 4-2-1 ATS at home with all 3 losses coming by exactly 3 points. So they have not lost a home game by more than 3 points this year. I like the price we are getting on the Titans catching 4 points against the Jacksonville Jaguars tonight. The Titans want to end their division rivals' season here. Mike Vraebel gave a passionate speech earlier this week saying how motivated his guys will be to do just that. This could be the final game for Derrick Henry in Tennessee, and I like the matchup for the Titans. They should be able to run the ball on a Jacksonville defense that gave up 251 rushing yards to the Ravens a few weeks ago. Trevor Lawrence is nowhere near 100% if he plays, and if he doesn't this line definitely will crash. The Jaguars will be without key slot receiver Jamal Agnew and could remain without Christian Kirk, who will be a game-time decision. Tennessee is 17-5 ATS in its last 22 home games after scoring 9 points or fewer. Take Tennessee.

In Week 18, the (6-10) New York Jets face the (4-12) New England Patriots on Sunday at 1:00pm ET in Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, MA. The Jets are +2.5 underdogs, with a Moneyline of +118, while the Patriots are -2.5 favorites with a Moneyline of -142. The game's total betting line is set at 30.5 points. (It's now at 29.5) and we're jumping on it. I'm not going to lie. I'm fading the crap weather in the forecast, I'm fading the other experts around that hammered this one down to 29.5 total. I'm fading because I feel like it. This is a free play. Play it small, and hope you're following a guy who is making the right choice. These two have quite the history. The Patriots and Jets have battled 129 times, with the Patriots winning 74 games, the Jets securing 54 wins, and one tie. The Pats have won the last 15. New England actually has played well as of late after what has been an abysmal season to say the least. They’ve beaten both the Steelers and Broncos on the road and played the Chiefs and Bills extremely tough. They’ve been able to find their offensive groove with Zappe and the defense has made some big plays. They've scored 21+ in 4 straight games. The Jets are sending out Trevor Siemian, who has been very inconsistent, but he's better than anyone else on the Jets roster (save Rodgers), and I think he'll at least get the ball into the Jets' playmakers hands more than any other QB in their QB room. (He was 32/45 for 261 YDS, 1 TD and 1 INT last week. I'm expecting Hall to have a monster game with no Cook around to poach carries. He's already put up 186 carries, 816 yards, 4 TD's, and he's been a true weapon out of the backfield with 74 receptions, 579 yards, adn 4 TD's. Get that man the damn ball, and when the weather is bad and winds are high check it down to your backs and TE's. Check out props for those guys in this one. Trends, the total has gone OVER in 4 of the Jets' L6, and in 4 of the L5 for NE. Plus the OVER has hit in 6 of NE's L8 vs. AFC teams, and 5 of the L7 vs. AFC East teams. You know what to do. Hop ON! The game fits a nice 6-0 under system that pertains to divisional games in the final week of the season for games where the total is less than 49. The first game had 54 points and this one should be lower scoring as The Vikings will struggle to score here as Detroit is playing all their starters despite basically being locked into the 3 seed, they would need both Philly and Dallas to lose to move up. Minnesota at 7-9 has their playoff chances on life support after the loss to Green Bay and would need a win here and a ton of help. While the Raiders have nothing to play for in theory, they're still playing for rookie head coach Antonio Pierce, looking to sew up a full-time job for their preferred choice. They can also book-end their season with wins over the Broncos after staging a minor upset way back in Week 1 in Denver. The Broncos picked up a 16-9 victory over the Chargers in their home finale last Sunday. I question how much motivation they'll have on this trip to Las Vegas to wrap up the regular season. There will be plenty of changes to come in the offseason and QB Jarrett Stidham is in a sense auditioning for his next job, whether it be in Denver or elsewhere. Note that the Broncos are a miserable 22-40 ATS in their last 62 games following a home win over a division opponent. The Raiders on the other hand are a perfect 4-0 ATS in their last four contests following a road loss by three points or less. Take Las Vegas.

The New York Giants are giving up 24.8 points per game this season. They just lost a 25-33 shootout against the Eagles two weeks ago and 25-26 to the Rams last week. This total of 42 is too low when you consider how poorly the Eagles are playing defensively as well. The Eagles have given up at least 25 points in five of their last six games overall. They are giving up 31.5 points per game in those six games. They just gave up 35 points and 449 yards to the Cardinals at home last week. Tyrod Taylor is the best option for the Giants at QB and he has proven it the last two weeks. The weather doesn't look too bad with a 50% chance of rain and only 10 MPH winds forecast as of Friday. Jack's Free Pick Sunday: Buffalo Bills -2.5

The Miami Dolphins were blitzed by the Baltimore Ravens 56-19 last week while allowing 491 total yards. For some reason they still had their best pass rusher in Bradley Chubb still in the game deep into the 4th quarter of the blowout. Chubb was lost for the season with a knee injury. Now the Dolphins are without their top two pass rushers as they were already without LB Jaelan Phillips.

The injuries are really starting to pile up for the Dolphins now. They lost starting CB Xavien Howard to injury against the Ravens as well. They were already without WR Jaylen Waddle and RB Raheem Mostert, who have yet to practice this week. Tyreke Hill is playing through injury and dealing with distractions with a house fire this week. QB Tua Tagovailoa will play through a shoulder injury suffered against the Ravens. Four of five offensive linemen are listed as questionable as well, and they already lost C Connor Williams to a torn ACL. What a mess this team is right now.

Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills are getting healthier at the end of the season, especially defensively. They will have all hands on deck defensively with the exception of LB Milano, CB White and DT Phillips, who they have been without for quite some time. But DT Jones, S Hyde, S Poyer and LB Miller have all missed time recently and all are back healthy now. The Bills are proving what they can do when healthy defensively, holding their last four opponents to 17.5 points per game and 277 yards per game.

The Bills are also remarkably healthy on offense. They are scoring 28 points per game in their last six games. The Bills put up 48 points on the Dolphins in their first meeting this season. They have now scored 38 points per game in their last three meetings with the Dolphins. They have also put up an average of 445 yards per game in their last four meetings with Miami. Josh Allen simply owns the Dolphins, and he will have his way again considering how short-handed their defense is right now. Bet the Bills Sunday night.
