(POD). Take Over 42.5 between the Philadelphia Eagles and Seattle Seahawks (Sunday, 4:15pm Eastern). If you didn't notice, the Seahawks might be making a run at it with an impressive win over division foe in the 49ers. Not only did the Seahawks win in San Fran but won convincingly as they put up over 30+ points in the Bay area. Something that has gone under the radar is the fact that the Eagles have played overs when on the road facing competitive teams. Make no mistake about it, that Vegas knows what's up with more than 72% of the public riding the road favorite here in the Eagles which is a likely indicator that the Seahawks will be an active dog. In short, the Seahawks will be very competitive this game. They will push the Eagles to the limit. Consequently, the total will go over as this is likely the case when the public is all over a road favorite heavily and likely gets burned. I look for the Seahawks to cover, but more importantly, I look for this game to go over.

4 Unit Play. #106 Take Cleveland Browns over Baltimore Ravens (Sunday 1:00 pm CBS) The Ravens have been feasting on cupcakes the last two weeks and all four of their victories have come against teams with losing records. The Browns picked up an impressive victory last week in Jacksonville and now have a chance to even up their record at 4-4 with a home victory. Baltimore struggles against good teams and this is their third road game in their last four. QB Flacco is start to get figured out as the season progresses and we will collect with easy with this homer. Cleveland 24, Baltimore 13.

2** Play on: UNDER THE TOTAL

We're getting to the time of the season where we start seeing a reverse variation of King's 'OU TIME ZONE System". That System usually pertains to Western time zone teams traveling to an Eastern time zone. But taking a look at the opposite direction can be just as revealing.... in certain specific conditions. For instance, once we start getting into November, we want to go the OPPOSITE way (Under) when we have an opposite dramatic time zone change. 1-9 O/U for all Eastern time zone teams playing in a Western time zone in weeks 8 thru 14 (ATLANTA)... under certain point spread parameters.

The Eagles came off their Bye just like they entered it, with a SUATS win vs the Falcons. The qualify in a System which has gone 0-4 O/U this year: FAVS off a SUATS win after AND before their BYE week.

The Eagles rushed for 192 yards in the big win over Atlanta. NFL teams went 2-10-2 O/U in October off a SU win w/ 170+ rushing yards.

Seattle is off a surprising division dog win (34-13) vs the Niners. It’s historically a good ‘Under’ situation, and it’s been solid this year too. 8-22 O/U s’2003 for Game 9 < teams off a SU div win as a dog of 4+ points. DOGS in this role are 0-7 O/U in the last 3 years.

Here’s the angle that pertains to THIS season only: 1-5 O/U TY for ALL teams off a SU div win as a dog 4+ pts. Philly’s #10 defense shuts down a one-dimensional offense.

Play On: Seattle Seahawks
Note: When the Seattle Seahawks return home to host the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday afternoon they will find themselves in a most desirable handicapping situation. That occurs whenever a team in the NFL has their next game up next against the defending Super Bowl champions. If the team owns a win percentage of less than .700 on the season and they are installed as road favorites they are just 1-15 ATS since 1980! Look for the Eagles to drop to 0-5 ATS in Game Eight of the season while the Seahawks improve to 5-1 ATS in Game Eight of the season here today. Grab the points with Seattle.

100,000* NFL GAME OF THE MONTH Plus Bonus Lock
Your winners here are on:

1. 100,000? Browns
2. 50,000? Bills

1. Neither team is great but I like the way the Brownies have been improving and to get them at home and pretty much just win the game is certainly fine with me.
No doubt Ray Lewis and Ed Reed form one of the stoutest defenses in all of football but I just do not trust Joe Flacco and that offense on the road. The Ravens have started the season nicely and probably do believe they have a shot at the playoffs but the road is never an easy place to play and without probably Chris McAllister and possibly also Willis McGhahee and Yamon Figurs I'm really not going to be surprised if the Ravens not only lose here but get blitzed. Let's not forget how this Cleveland team has a pretty good upside on offense unlike Baltimore who really still does not as they just still pretty much plod up and down the field.
Romeo Crennel's Browns have really come on of late, feeding off of that win against the Giants. These guys just won in Jacksonville against a similar physical team in the Jaguars and now back home will certainly play with some passion in what is a huge huge divisional game that could determine the fate of their season as 3-5 with another loss in the division would probably mean the end of any real postseason hopes. Plus Jamal Lewis is a former Raven and should be all sorts of jacked up here.
The Ravens have won two straight but Miami and Oakland are not exactly two elite teams and on the road here have to pretty much win this game in order to cover.
Derek Anderson has been a ton better of late and I definitely expect Braylon Edwards to man up against the physical Baltimore defense like he did against the Giants in that Monday night win.
A near pick at home? Sure!
2. Brett Favre has been pretty wretched over the past few weeks and the Jets overall have really been lacking a whole lot of late. New York was atrocious out in Oakland in that overtime loss a few weeks ago and had to come back last week to beat a dreadful Kansas City team in the Meadowlands.
Sure Buffalo blew it last week in Miami but the Bills at Rich Stadium in the cold always seem to take care of business. Buffalo is in first place right now and a win today would be monstrous as the Patriots probably are going to drop a game on the road in Indianapolis later in the day. With Favre throwing a ton of picks of late against bad teams I just don't see him rebounding up North against a very capable Buffalo team.
I can totally see a 31-14 type of an ass whopping right here as the Jets poor play is about to catch up with them once agaion on the highway and in a major major way!

(408) BUFFALO BILLS
Take "(408) BUFFALO BILLS"
The Jets (4-3 SU, 3-4 ATS) are a tough team to figure out. A lot was expected from the Jets this season, after they were big free agent spenders, but they.5?ve been inconsistent, ranking 12th in total defense, 15th in offense. New 39-year old QB Brett Favre (15 TDs, 11 INTs) has 3 TDs, 7 INTs the last 3 games! The ground game is ranked 15th, with RB Thomas Jones (532 yards, 4.4 ypc) and the passing game has WR Lavearneus Coles (433 yards, 5 TDs) and WR Jerricho Cotchery (36, 430 yards, 3 TDs). They are 2-1 SU, 1-2 ATS the last three games against bad teams, beating the Bengals (26-14), losing at Oakland (16-13), then needing a late TD to beat the Chiefs at home (28-24). Those teams have a combined mark 4-17 and the Jets posted a minus-8 turnover margin. There wasn't any bravado in the locker room after Sunday's 28-24 escape against the hapless Chiefs. After an afternoon of boos and interceptions, Brett Favre walked slowly out of the Jets' locker room, flanked by two team doctors. As he approached family members in the tunnel, he called out to one, "Stick a fork in me." He said it with a smile. The Bills (5-2 SU, 4-3 ATS) and Patriots (5-2) are tied atop the AFC East, and the Jets come to Ralph Wilson Stadium one game back at 4-3. The Buffalo defense is 11th in the NFL (20.4 ppg allowed) and the offense is 18th overall, with 23.6 points per game. They are 6-2 SU, 7-1 ATS the last two years in games decided by 6 points or less. Second-year QB Trent Edwards (5 TDs, 3 INTs, 1,436 yards) is 10-3 SU, 8-5 ATS as their starter, and has good weapons with RB Marshawn Lynch, WRs are Lee Evans (637 yards), Josh Reed (288), slot WR Roscoe Parrish (82 yards). However, WR Josh Reed suffered an Achilles' injury Sunday and did not return. Buffalo is off a 25-16 loss at Miami. QB Trent Edwards suffered through a mostly miserable afternoon as he threw an interception and lost two fumbles, one of which resulted in a safety. Look for the Bills to rebound today at home as they are one of the best in the AFC. Favre just doesn't have the personnel that he had to work with in Green Bay and it's showing. Take the Bills here on Sunday!

Vikings -4.5 over Texans
Minnesota matches up extremely well against this Texans team. On offense the Vikings should have no problems scoring and on defense will be able to stop the run with both the Williams in the middle of the defensive line. Minnesota is a tough place to play and they should get a big home win today.

Oakland +3 over Atlanta
I like what Matt Ryan is doing for Atlanta, but this is a young football team going against an improving Raiders team with a ton of experience. Atlanta needs to mature some more before they start consistently winning road games in hostile environments. Take the Raiders as the home dog.

Seattle +7 over Philly
The Seahawks had a ton of WR injuries this year which allowed other guys to step up. Philly has played decent, but they really are just getting by in some of their wins. Seattle always plays Philly tough and this could be a tough spot for the Eagles as they travel to the west coast with some key offensive injuries. Look for a tight game. Take the Seahawks.

Jets +5 over Bills
This is a big AFC East game and again I am not completely sold on the Bills. Buffalo QB Edwards is banged up and they will be without their top receiver today. Brett Favre knows how to win in these spots, but I look for the defense to take over today. This should be a low scoring smash mouth type game. This spread is too high. Take New York.

50 DIMER - HOUSTON....20 DIMER - BUFFALO....10 DIMERS - NEW ENGLAND, & OAKLAND
50 DIMER - HOUSTON TEXANS

The G-Man is shocked the Vikings are favored by this many! Maybe, the Vikes are able to pull out the win, but a look at Minnesota's last 2 wins shows a 3-point win against New Orleans, and a 2-point win at home against lowly Detroit.

Bottom line, the Vikings will NOT cover this one!

Houston is coming on strong, winning 3 in a row, and they have been putting big numbers up on the board as well. The combination of Matt Schaub to Andre Johnson has been yielding big dividends, and pass defense has been one of Minnesota's weak spots this year.

Another Minnesota weak spot has been their special teams, as their punting coverage has been atrocious, and Housto has a good punt returner in Jacoby Jones who has already returned a pair for TDs this year.

Have to grab the points in this one, as this one has Houston cover written ALL OVER IT!

20 DIMER - BUFFALO BILLS

For those of you keeping track, Brett Favre has thrown picks in 6 straight games, and last week's 3 interception performance - including one returned over 90 yards for a score - has the G-Man raising the red flag on the Jets today!

New York has dropped the last 3 series meetings with the Bills, both straight up, and against the spread, and the Jets have also dropped their last pair of road games both straight up, and against the spread.

I expect a full bounce back from Buffalo after losing at Miami last Sunday, as the Bills are 3-0 at home, covering in 2 of 3 this season.

Overall, the Bills are on a 12-4 spread run at home their last 16.

Gotta lay the lumber with the Bills.

10 DIMER - OAKLAND RAIDERS

I must admit, I am impressed with the job 1st year coach Mike Smith, and first year quarterback Matt Ryan have done in turning around the Falcons so quickly, but today they are in a very bad spot.

Atlanta played their asses off at Philadelphia last week, only to get jobbed by the zebras on a muffed punt turnover late. Now the Falcons will have to travel west for a date with the Raiders in a game they think they should win.

Not so fast, as Oakland's last home game was an upset win against the Jets in overtime. The Falcons are playing as the road favorite first time since 2006, a role in which they have failed 2 of their last 3!

Very dicey spot for Atlanta, and they are just not ready yet to win a road game like this.

Take the Raiders.

10 DIMER - NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Sure, Tom Brady is out for the year for New England, but Indianapolis is also dealing with a rash of injuries, and the fact remains Peyton Manning is certainly a notch off his usual machine-like self, as he has been picked off at will this season.

Indy is back home after dropping their last pair of games on the road, and they are just 1-3-1 against the spread as a favorite thus far this season.

New England has won their last pair of games, and 3 of 4 straight up, and this impost is just high enough where I can see the Pats sneaking inside the impost against an Indy team that will be happy with any win they can get right now.

I say take the points with the Pats who are 15-6 against the spread their last 21 as the visitor. Make that 16-6 after tonight's cover.

paid.

405 BAL 3.0 (-120) Sportsbetting.com vs 406 CLE
Analysis: **** NFL 4* AFC NORTH 4* GAME of the MONTH ****
(BUY the 1/2 Point to +3...even if you have to lay -125)

This is the exact reason that although I had this game already confirmed....that I waited before posting...Because I was informed by many of the books we have as sources, that the amount of work coming in on Cleveland...in the form of Straight Bets, Parlays, and Teasers...are going to force them to adjust the number and it may still go higher...
But I do like the fact that they aren't yet willing to move it to 3 on their own...which is something that they would love to do...if not for the fact, that the "Outfits" would almost definately come in and take all the Ravens action they could get...
This is a situation where once again the "public perception" has forced the books to offer much move value on the Ravens than they should be...There is no one sharp that I've spoken to, who has made this game any higher than a "Pick"...and even at that number...Based on my "projected final"...we would still be backing the Ravens...with the only difference being it would probably be a 2*...
This is one of those games that will almost definately help decide the sportsbooks winning or losing for the day...at least heading into the night-cap and MNF...Because for some reason, it's being bet as if the public is holding tomorrow's paper...
As I always say...I've learned that although I don't mind being on the side of the books...In today's market, you definately need more than that to take a position....And I really feel that we have that, with both the line being way too high, and Baltimore really matching up well with the Browns...Something they already showed early in the season...
Last Year the Browns swept the season series...Look for the Ravens to return the favor this afternoon...but for safty's sake...let's go ahead and take this up to +3...and make it our 4* AFC NORTH GAME OF THE MONTH...VR

411 Detroit Lions (+12.5-13) vs Chicago ~ 3 Units

Anyone remember last week's double-digit dog? The Chiefs were +14 and almost won the game outright vs the Jets. We all profited off of that game so lets do the same on this one too. Double digit underdogs are 11-2 in covering the spread this year and 4 ended up winning straight up. Also, in these 2 team's meetings, the underdog is 7-2 ATS.

Chicago's double digit line is a bit shady. Their pre-bye week, super high scoring game vs the Vikings throws the line off a bit.. The Bears in that game had 2 defensive touchdowns, 4 interceptions and a fumble recovery. Anyone can score a lot of points with all of those uncommon turnovers. Typically the bears average 1 interception and less than 1 fumble recovery. They're allowing a cool 21.4 PPG while averaging 28 PPG on offense. And they make 86% of their field goals.

The Lions meanwhile are on pace to maybe have a 1 win season like the Dolphins of last year. They're getting better though. Their offense seems to be clicking a little better every game. Last week they scored 17 on the Washington's #6 ranked Yards Allowed defense. The Lion's strength lies in their passing game as their running game is almost non-existent. The Bears pass defense is ranked 29th allowing over 240 passing yards a game. This bodes well for the Lions to cover the spread of this game.

I have no doubt the Lions will lose this game, but not by 13.

Best of Luck

(417) ATLANTA FALCONS
(418) OAKLAND RAIDERS
Take " (418) OAKLAND RAIDERS "
A non-conference battle of running teams. The Falcons (4-3 S/ATS) have been a surprise under new coach Mike Smith. They have a winning record despite 4 road games. The offense is building around rookie QB Matt Ryan (7 TDs, 5 picks), ranked 10th in the NFL. The running game is 4th in the NFL pounding out 150 yards rushing per contest. Free agent RB Michael Turner (655 yards, 4.7 ypc, 6 TDs) has been a beast, along with RB Jerious Norwood, while WR Roddy White (679 yards) has been impressive. The offense plays best when it can run, as rookie QB Ryan struggles when opponents put pressure on him. The Atlanta defense is ranked 25th. Even in the 27-24 victory at Green Bay, they gave up 408 yards. They are off a 27-13 loss at Philly, getting just 77 rushing yards while turning it over 3 times. The young Raiders (2-5 SU/3-4 ATS) are home after a long road trip from Baltimore, looking flat in a 29-10 defeat. They are on their second coach of the season in Tom Cable, the fifth coach of the Oakland Raiders in the past six years. Cable got his first win two weeks ago at home, in a wild 16-13 OT win over the NY Jets on a 57-yard field goal by Sebastian Janikowski. Cable came bent on bringing balance to a run-heavy offense and gave such orders to offensive coordinator Greg Knapp, who is calling the plays for the first time since coming to Oakland last year. Two young teams here, but have to side with the home club as the Raiders have played tough at home this year including a win over a good Jets team.

(421) PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
(422) SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
Take " (422) SEATTLE SEAHAWKS "
Inner Circle (Seahawks) : A long road trip for the Eagles (4-3 SU/ATS), a team that struggles in close games but wins going away in one-sided ones. They beat the Rams (38-3), Steelers (15-6), 49ers (40-26) and Falcons (27-13), but lost close ones to the Cowboys (41-37), Bears (24-20) and Redskins (23-17). Andy Reid’s talented team has great balance, as the offense is 8th overall and the defense is No. 7. QB Donovan McNabb (64% completions, 8 TDs, 3 INTs) is carrying the offense with rookie WR DeSean Jackson. RB Brian Westbrook (ankle, ribs) was sick of sitting and showed his All-Pro form by rushing for 167 yards and two touchdowns, as the Eagles beat the Atlanta Falcons 27-14 on Sunday. Westbrook missed two of the past three games with broken ribs and had been bothered by an ankle injury. The Seahawks (2-5 SU/3-4 ATS) running game is 12th overall behind newcomer Julius Jones, averaging 118 yards per game. Seneca Wallace (3 TDs, 1 pick) has stepped in for injured QB Matt Hasselbeck (back problems), and passed for 222 yards Sunday in his sixth career start, a 34-13 win at San Fran. Seattle's defense set the tone early on its way to five sacks, four forced fumbles. Seattle is 25-6 SU, 20-10-1 ATS its last 31 at home. Have to think the Eagles might be a bit tired in this spot. Plus, the Eagles face the NY Giants in a big division game next week and could be looking ahead against this Seahawks squad. We'll take the home team here as our Inner Circle play on Sunday.

(401) JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
(402) CINCINNATI BENGALS
Take " (401) JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS "
Pro Blowout GOY: Jaguars.
The Jaguars strength is running the football -- and Cincy has trouble with the run. Jacksonville (3-4 SU/2-5 ATS) has been up and down and desperate for a win after last week's frustrating loss at home to the Browns. This team has talent and the combined record of the Jaguars' opponents is a league-best 21-10. The Jags had a key 24-17 upset at Denver as the offense had 415 yards (155 rushing). Even in the loss to the Browns, the offense had 380 yards. Garrard finished 25-of-42 passing for 283 yards and two touchdowns. The Jaguars lost despite converting 11 of 20 times on third down. The Lions have hogged the spotlight as the NFL's worst team, but the poor Bengals (0-8 SU, 2-6 ATS) are just as bad. The Cincy offense is ranked 31st in the NFL, while the defense is 20th. The offense is averaging just 228 total yards per game, second to last in rushing, while averaging just 14.6 points. Star QB Carson Palmer (3 TDs, 4 INTs) has been out much of the last few weeks ago with an inflamed right (throwing) elbow and is out. QB Ryan Fitzpatrick hasn't been able to get much going for the Bengals. They are off a 35-6 loss at Houston getting outgained 384-253. Fitzpatrick has started two of the last four games. The "new-look" defense looks as bad as ever, ranked 28th at stopping the run, allowing 146 yards rushing per contest, something the Jaguars will attack. "The fact that we can't run the ball right now is absolutely killing us," Bengals offensive coordinator Bob Bratkowski said. And so will Jacksonville -- Play the Jaguars.

They blow this Rams team out by 3 touchdowns minimum today. They simply have too much in the passing department and the Rams pass defense is not very good. Arizona needs the win and they get it easily.
