4 Unit Play. Take #903 Colorado Rockies +110 over Pittsburgh Pirates (7:05 PM, Tuesday, June 13)
The Colorado Rockies will look to break their two-game losing streak when they take on the Pirates at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, PA on Tuesday night. Tyler Chatwood (6-7, 4.37 ERA, 1.29 WHIP) will get the start for the Rockies and he will be opposed by Gerrit Cole (3-6, 4.83 ERA, 1.34 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Pirates. Colorado has posted an 8-3 record in their last eleven games where they faced a right-handed starter and they have gone an excellent 15-6 in Chatwood's last 21 road starts. The Pirates, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 3-8 in Cole's last eleven starts where he faced a team with a w inning record and they are an awful 8-17 in his last 25 starts overall going back to the 2016 season. Throw in the fact that the Rockies are 7-2 in their last nine games overall while the Pirates have lost their last four Game #2's of a series and we'll take Colorado at the small underdog price to get the road win in Pittsburgh on Tuesday evening.
4 Unit Play. Take #919 New York Yankees -120 over Los Angeles Angels (10:05 PM, Tuesday, June 13)
The New York Yankees will look to extend their win streak to seven games when they take on the Los Angeles Angels at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA on Tuesday night. CC Sabathia (7-2, 3.66 ERA, 1.26 WHIP) will get the start for the Yankees and he will be opposed by JC Ramirez (6-4, 4.33 ERA, 1.27 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Angels. The Yankees have posted a perfect 5-0 record in their last five games where they faced a right-handed starter and they have gone an excellent 20-9 in their last 29 games versus a team from the AL West going back to the end of the 2016 season. The Angels, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 1-5 in their last five home games when facing a team with a winning record and they have lost four of their last five home games against the Yankees. Throw in the fact that New York has gone 19-7 in the last 26 head to head meetings between the two teams and we'll lay the price with them here to get the road win in Anaheim on Tuesday night.
4 Unit Play. Take #929 Kansas City Royals +105 over San Francisco Giants (10:10 PM, Tuesday, June 13)
The Kansas City Royals will look for their third win in a row when they take on the Giants at AT&T Park in San Francisco, CA on Tuesday night. Jason Vargas (8-3, 2.18 ERA, 1.12 WHIP) will get the start for the Royals and he will be opposed by Ty Blach 4-3, 3.64 ERA, 1.15 WHIP), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Giants. Kansas City has posted a 19-7 record in their last 26 interleague road games where they faced a team with a losing record and they have gone a perfect 7-0 when Vargas gets the start following a game where the team scored five runs or more. The Giants, on the other hand, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone just 3-7 in their last ten games versus a team with a winning % of .500 or lower and they are an awful 5-12 in their last seventeen interleague games. Throw in the fact that the Royals are 8-1 in Vargas' last eight starts versus a team with a losing record while the Giants have lost 42 of their last 59 games following a win going back to last season and that they have lost five of their last six home games and we'll take the Royals at the small underdog price to get the toad win in San Francisco on Tuesday night.
