ah, the willing suspension of disbelief. So what you are saying is that WWE is basically great American Theater. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suspension_of_disbelief

You know what, you're right. In a lot of ways it is like Shakespeare with its plot twists and over the top dramatic turns. It is just missing the insights about the human condition and revealing truths about character and growth... so another way of looking at it is that it is a soap opera. That said, it is at least live theater, so it has to be seen as superior to a soap opera. Maybe you should talk to Vince McMahon and class the act up a little by adding in a little more complex character development (as opposed to the pretty standard babyface vs. heel set up).

That would suck all of the fun out of it.

Yup, I bet on Lesnar in that one.
I thought the fight or flight shit he was on vs Carwin was an aboration. I chalked it up as Shane hits like a mofo, he hung in there and came back and won.
When that white devil was doing cartwheels vs Cain, I was on some son I am dissapoint. I got a little back on the Reem fight though.
1 unit = 300 $
So I just found out Bellator (and King Mo) is coming to SLC. . .

Ha. Well I've been to some local shows.
But they're the first major promotion to come here, since the gay ass UFC lied to us a couple of years ago.

Bellator was fun...I had ringside seats when I went. It was only $125 or so a ticket and I was pretty much right next to the ring girls. I am looking forward to them coming back to Florida.
I doubt the UFC comes back to Florida...no ticket sales for UFC on FX 3 over summer. Hopefully they go back to Atlanta to the Phillips Arena in 2013..it's worth the drive.
Whoa, just saw that Bellator's having a fight next week 5 mins from my house in Georgia.

Gonna grab a $40 seat and help support the scene. I'll take a few pics for you homos.
Unfortunately I was in Asia when they had UFC in Atlanta. I'm pretty sure UFC will come to Atlanta again, the catch is it has to be a popular black fighter. UFC 88 Rashad vs Liddell, UFC 145 Jones vs. Evans.
I think I only spent $40 on my tickets to Bellator too. In Louisville, it was different, it was outside, and we were on a skywalk looking down over the cage. It was pretty neat, I really enjoyed the venue, but there weren't more than a couple thousand people there. It was a much smaller production than the Strikeforce cards I went to, even though those were half empty too. I guess I am just used to living in a place where 10,000 people show up for a HS football game and 20,000 people show up to every IU basketball game. It is hard to understand how only a couple thousand people show up to see Bellator.
