What the Play today? We could all you a nice fade WINNER..
Amen to that!! The majority of so-called handicappers that appear week after week on this website suck. Do people buy these picks? Really? I mean, Double Dragon, Tri-Lambda-WTF??, Maddux and his usual 20 picks, and a host of other losers. Take Ness's pick today on Louisiana Tech and live or die with it. If it blows, wait for a better day. It's better than taking worthless or made-up handicap sites. Anyway, there are no guarantees, but BIG AL MCMORDIE has a 5 Star (highest selection) on Iowa State. Big Al can suck too, so bet accordingly. IMO, if you're not following Burns, Ness, and McMordie, you're losing and that's only when they are hot. If you are serious handicappers, you DO need a handicap service, but it is sure not the clowns on most of this website. Good luck. Everyone needs it.
5 Unit Play. Take #540 Dallas -6.5 over San Antonio (8:05 p.m. ET, Thursday, Dec. 26) This is strictly a situational play. San Antonio shot 67.4 percent from the floor -- the highest in any NBA game this season -- and 62.5 percent from beyond the arc while posting season-high totals in points and assists (36). Obviously, this doesn't happen every day and there is regressive to the mean, especially for a team that 8-19 ATS. Dallas led Toronto by 30 points with three minutes to play in the third quarter and ended up losing by 3. The comeback was the largest in Raptors history. Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle criticized his team for losing its edge and aggression during Toronto's rally. "When you get hit with that kind of force, you've got to respond with equal or greater force, and we just didn't do it soon enough," Carlisle said. Again, this doesn't happen every day either. Expect the Mavs to play with purpose and the Spurs to return to who they are and Dallas wins by double digits.
