Jardines line is way off. He is more experienced and possibly more skilled. Yes I am serious. Luke rock hold has done nothing except beat jacare in a very very close decision. Look up jacares record, he has had a lot of close fights. Rock hold is green, and he has never ever fought a long, hard, gritty, bloody battle. That is jardines fighting style. Rock hold may have huge knockout power and great striking but we don't really know that. Rh has been out of round one once in his pro career which started in 2007. Jardine has Almost 30 pro fights and has competed and done well against the best. The more I think about it I feel jardine should be favored. Rock hold is a wrestler Bjj guy. Jardine isn't that easy to take down.

Jardine is dropping to MW for the 1st time, short notice, and is fighting an up and comer who is only going to improve. Jardine isn't going to get much better, and his "herky jerky" style is overrated. I like Jardine, I usually root for him to win, but I just always expect him to lose. I do agree he is tough/can make it close and the line may be off, but I still think Rockhold is gonna win. But edman DOES have a point...he had a very close fight with Jacare standing (who was pretty tired) and I am under the impression Jacare's striking isn't too great. Rockhold is just pretty flashy. I am actually going to watch Rockhold/Jacare again later. I don't think it's dumb to lay a small bet on Jardine +400 but I don't think he should be favored at all.

When was his best? Was it from 2007-2010 when he was in the UFC because during that stretch he went 2-6

I'm not arguing taking a +400 dog is wrong but saying he should be favored is a bit out there.

I think the weight cut is going to make Jardine weak and and he's going to get beat pretty soundly in the fight. . . . but what do I know?

Heh well you know plenty Luke. I appreciate the input. I Am someone who needs balance. I didn't realize he was taking this fight on short notice. Are you sure about that poopoo? Jardines record of 2 and 6 isn't that bad..he did well in some of them and beat some decent guys.

He did beat Vera and Liddell. They can both strike well. I am not sure Luke rock hold could out strike either one. His fights against quinton Jackson, Matt hamill, and Trevor orangey were all very close. He did decently against Gegard. I thought he lost but Gegard is good

It looks like jardine rockhold was announced on December eighth. So jardine probably found out a day or two befor that, maybe more. I read a quote from jardine where he said he rededicated himself to the sport.

I am on the Keith jardine website right now. I am reading his blog from November. Nov 17th. Skipped practice today, went on 2.5 hour bike ride, came back light as hell thanks to the dolce diet. I remember him saying a long time ago that he wanted to go to 185. If he was on. The dd in November he might actually be in good she now. He looks lean as hell in his photo.

Ok, jardine was in camp in October and November for a fight he thought he had on December seventeenth. Add in the fact he is on the dolce diet and you get Keith jardine was planning a move to middleweight.
