I tend to agree. I would prefer after marrage, but I think 18-21 is a proper age if your going to "do it".

It is not that bad. I thought those little turds would cost more than they actually do. Honestly, I probably save more in taxes by claiming them and with the child tax credit than they cost me in a year.

You save $4000 per child on your taxes, plus you get a $1000 child tax credit in the year they are born. I don't think my kids cost me $8k extra a year. I spend $100 month on school (soon to be $200), and maybe an additional $100 per month on food and clothes... they don't cost much. Maybe when they are older they will cost more. But since I basically force poverty on my family with my miserly ways, I don't think they will ever cost much more than the tax exemption.
