I like Ben Affleck ok. Hatred toward him is not well deserved IMO.

My hatred for Ben Affleck died down a bit after he started working BEHIND the camera. The Town was quite good and I think he's proven himself to be a solid director. I don't really like him as an actor, though.

Anyway, Company Men was a solid film. Had a lot of good talent in it. I thing the "big, evil corporation" genre is wearing out its welcome, though.

I think Affleck is somewhat limited as an actor, but I think he does a good job with the roles he takes usually. He has definitely been in some shit movies, but he has been in some really good stuff too.

I agree that there has been enough done about big corporation ruining America. Move on.

I didn't see him down there, so I thought it was just a random post about how tiny our little place in the universe is... Also, I didn't think those comparisons are correct, so I had to look it up. I learned something today. My whole life I thought that Mars was larger than Earth and that Earth was much larger than Neptune and Uranus. I am sure that is how I learned it in grade school. Fn 80's, they didn't know anything.

My greatest astronomical surprise was learning just how much smaller Mars is than earth. I knew it was smaller, but thought it was still about 3/4 the size of our planet.

I always thought that gas giants referred to Jupiter and Saturn for some reason. I am just dumbfounded that I am one of those people that goes his whole life just totally oblivious to a fact that the rest of the world knows.

I knew a girl in college, a 4.0 student that thought Alaska was an island by Hawaii, because that is how it usually appears on a map, just off to the side. I was just dumbfounded as to how she could not know where Alaska was and not know that it was cold and not tropical. Now I know, sometimes you think you know something, so you just stop paying attention. I thought I knew the solar system in 1985. 25 years later, I learn I have been living a lie, all because of a poster of fat AJ.

Well if it makes you feel any better, I find that most people's knowledge of our solar system really isn't very sophisticated. I happen to have somewhat of an interest in astronomy so I have read up on it bit, but in my experience most people can't even name the order of the planets.
