If by "hung with" you mean missed a vast majority of his strikes while being hit over 80% of the time standing over five rounds, then yeah.

More the fact that he went toe-to-toe with Aldo and wasn't in any real danger of being finished (except for low kicks).

What do you guys think about Mcgee and Ring? I don't think it is a forgone conclusion that Nick ring wins. Wasn't the first fight pretty close?

I do think Ring is the more skilled fighter.

They fought once, it was a two round fight that ring won a maj decision in. They were slated to fight once more but Ring tore his acl and had to have a reconstruction. I favor Ring in this but we'll see.

I do think that brian ebersole will handle James head btw. His wrestling should be good enough to take him down if nick rings wrestling is good enough. He also tough as nails and hard to choke.

How about the hippo anthony perosh? He is a pretty highly decorated jiu jitsu guy but he is moving down to 205 for the first time and he's getting kinda old. Jimmo is the MFC champ, karate guy.

Perosh' last three fights have been at 205. I'll take Jimmo here by being younger, known for a good workrate, and having better striking than Perosh. He could be in some trouble if Perosh can get him down though.

I think he has a good shot at getting him down. Probably not over and over for three rounds though.

After watching faber assuncao i can definetly see faber having trouble with barao in the takedown department. He had trouble with assuncao for a little while. He actually made it to top position by dropping assuncao quite a bit. Twice actually. I think he might have the speed advantage against Barao but I am pretty sure Barao is a better striker.

jorg was getting inside on him in the first round for the take down quite a bit but he couldn't finish it. On one hand if jorgensen cant finish a single take down it doesnt bode well for faber but on the other hand if jorg can get inside faber should be able to.

All I'll say is that Faber fucking DESTROYED Bowles in his last fight. It was very impressive.
