Interested to see how Swick rebounds against Johnson. Also curious to see Grispi/Yahya play out

I won't be playing Browne unless his line drops a bit...like under -200. However I am considering a Browne by decision play if I can get it +400. I really don't think Browne will stop Rothwell. Lots of variables in this fight though, I cannot see a "natural setting" for this fight.

I need Rua and Machida too. For either of them to lose would be . . . well . . . it would suck pretty bad.

Also I am not that confident in Machida either. I honestly believe Bader has a better chance than the line and the public are indicating.

Do you have 5u on each? If Machida loses just add more on Rua. Seriously...he is fighting Brandon fucking Vera.

Vera chokes and cannot perform in preliminary fights against Elliot Marshall. What is he going to do in the main event on Fox television against one of the best LHWs in the world?

5 on Shogun and 3 on Machida, I think. More importantly, that's most of the money that I have on Bookmaker now. So I really know those guys to win and a) free those funds up, and b) add to my account balance.

This is my thinking as well.

My only concern is that Shogun does occasionally perform in surprising ways (i.e. against Forrest the first time and then Coleman. Granted that was a while ago, but still).

Yeah, I have always said this, but Rua does not have a great gas tank. When he is in a high paced fight or is forced to be in a grappling match where he is put in a compromising position, he tires. But, Vera doesn't do that. Won't be surprised if this goes the distance either.

But shit...imo Vera's best performance was at 105 against Couture..maybe he will step it up..but it still wont be enough.

I honestly don't have alot of faith in Shogun anymore. His knees are gone, his movement is gone. He's basically a brawler now. His takedowns may not be enough to stop Vera from lighting him up(which Vera was doing to Thiago Silva until he got taken down each time). Shogun has the one punch power but Vera could be in this more than ya'll think based solely on Shogun's lack of footwork lately.

Shogun, Machida and Browne are all gonna win. And I believe very decisively.

What do you guys think the line will be in the Varner/Lauzon fight? I think Varner has a decent sized underdog would be worth a play. Has Lauzon ever fought a guy that wanted to put him on his back and keep him there?

I think Joe will open as a -190 favorite here. But Varner could very well be game. Sotiropulous put Joe on his back repeatedly. Lauzon held his own sort of until he gassed in the second. Varner could win with the right strategy.

I think that fight is a coin toss. I'd take either guy as a decent-sized dog.

I think I'm actually favoring Varner here. He proved against Barboza, much to my disappointment, that he can still fight like a champion when he's having a good night. But I would not at all be surprised to see Lauzon sub him in the first.
