It just seems though that even if he can't make 170 anymore SURELY he can successfully make middleweight, even if he has to stay in shape between fights to do that.

The problem is that he is fat. That's it. We haven't heard of any kidney damage or anything else...

Also, if you can't make 185, why wait until the day before the fight. Your opponent has already been cutting. He is just lazy, that's it.
