Anthony Johnson weighed in at 195. Seems like last minute they decided to change it to 195 catchweight when AJ realized he couldn't make 185 again

I wonder if he is not trying, or if his body is just fucked from cutting so much in the past. Those cuts to 170/the attempted cuts may have really fucked his health up imo

Maybe. I AM one for not jumping to conclusions without all the facts.

It just seems though that even if he can't make 170 anymore SURELY he can successfully make middleweight, even if he has to stay in shape between fights to do that.

He should just get bigger and fight at LHW.

But in that case, he will weigh in at 220.

BOL, yeah. It just seems like whatever weight he is supposed to come in at he just doesn't work hard enough to make that weight.

I mean, if he was scheduled to fight at LW, he'd weigh in at 168.

i think those cuts to 170 did damage his body and now he can't cut any weight anymore.

The problem is that he is fat. That's it. We haven't heard of any kidney damage or anything else...

Also, if you can't make 185, why wait until the day before the fight. Your opponent has already been cutting. He is just lazy, that's it.

Thanks, I guess I'll tune in to that.

The Johnson / Branch fight is currently listed on Wikipedia as a "Super Rumbleweight bout".

I was hoping they would release lines for this, as they usually do. Would have taken Branch as a dog for sure.

Looking at LC Davis's record, I'm surprised Zuffa cut him when they did.
