I kind of want to see Carwin fight once before putting any money on or against him.

Definitely not taking him as a -200 fave.

Yeah, lots of question marks on him considering his age/recent surgeries. That's why I included "..well actually idk" in my OP

Carwin gasses and dies if he can't put Roy away in 5 minutes. And he probably can't. So... Roy.

              Brookins vs Poirier

              I suspect Poirier wins.

He should be favored but showed a T3D weakness against KZ. That is Brookins' game, but Brookins is so slow and ploddy for a featherweight.

Yeah, that's true. And Brookins did pretty well with the wall n' stall against Koch. Hmm. . .

I like Brookins here. Dont think Poirer can sub him nor do I believe he can stop the takedowns.

Yeah I agree. Roy is pretty fiesty on the feet as well. I could easily see him avoiding Carwins strikes long enough for Carwin to gas. Roys chin is solid as well. Carwin is super tough though...He went three rounds getting battered by JDS. His wrestling is also solid. Think Roy can take him down and sub him? I'm a little hesitant to think so. I think he will have a very difficult time getting him down. Once he is down, maybe. Standing they both have big power and great jaws. Maybe this one can go five rounds..I wonder what Shane will look like for this one though. His last fight was in June of 2011.

Post-injury, post-layoff Carwin is a huge question mark as far as I'm concerned.
