So . . . thoughts on this pseudo-season?

Okay, fine. If you want something done right I guess you have to do it yourself. I'll start.

I was a little iffy after the first episode of this season but it quickly came together. The show has the feeling of entering the end game and now everything that it's been building up to is starting to pay off. I definitely have to give credit to Vince Gilligan for a) producing one of the few shows that stays strong through every season, and b) knows when to wrap up.

Mike dying is kind of a bummer. I'd rather see him standing at the end but I guess that's not going to happen. And I guess we're supposed to think that Hank has figured out that Walt is Heisenburg, though with way that ending played out, we can't really know for sure until the next episode.

I have to wonder what's up with Jesse. Is he really "out?" And if so, what kind of presence is he going to have throughout the next handful of episodes? I have heard some speculate that Jesse will die--either directly or indirectly--by Walt's hand before it's over. Then again I've also heard some speculate that Jesse will team up with Skylar to take Walt down.

It's maybe the best show ever. Personally, Spartacus season 1 may be the most fun I've ever had with television. But Breaking Bad is the only show that has stayed 100% awesome through every season.
