Maia up to +135 on 5 dimes. I am really hoping he gets a better line.

He's up to +150. I actually kinda like him in this. Fitch has had the same fighting style for so long now, he grins his opponents with wrestling. I don't see how that can work with Maia. On top of that Maia took down DHK and Rick Story. He also did well against Munoz and Mario Miranda, two much larger wrestlers. I just wonder how his cardio will hold up at 170. Interesting thing - if Fitch can't Fitch Maia out of fear of being submitted, will Maia gas? Normally Fitch makes his opponents gas doing that. He did make it happen with BJ though BJ almost had him in the first round. He always gets tired though.

I don't think Fitch is going to be too scared of getting submitted, however, if Maia implements the same game plan he did against DHK and Story, I believe Maia has the edge. Everytime Fitch is pressured with grappling where he has to be the defensive grappler, he has trouble. See the BJ Penn fight (round 1) and the Diego Sanchez fight.
