Where did I say Brown would beat Faber now you twit? Brown is damn near 40 years old now. What happened 4 years ago has no bearing on today. Faber fought Brown twice. Faber lost twice . Those are the facts, so you saying Faber was better that Brown is just stupid.

And poopoo's right, I rarely bet on anything under 170lbs

That was Faber's 23rd fight in his career and nothing like that had happened before. You won't catch me saying that Faber is a GREAT striker, but he's not a bad striker either. I'm also pretty sure he trained for a period of time at Fairtex in Thailand.

It was weird, but hands get broken in MMA. It just so happens he broke both of them.

What else would it be? I could see breaking one hand but two hands? It has to be an issue with his striking.

Faber breaking his hands is probably a result of very bad striking technique.

I think that rematch with Brown would've gone differently if Faber hadn't broken both of his hands.

The thing with Faber is that he just isn't a good striker. Flat out, he isn't that great. He might be getting better now that he has Duane Bang Ludwig but I don't know how good he will become. That considered, if he gets you to the ground he will either hold you there or submit you. This applies to the vast majority of the fighters in the division. BTW I thought Faber beat Cruz the last time they fought. I would take Faber over Brown as well. My guess is Mike Brown was able to beat Faber because he was the first guy that could stop his takedowns.

You know, I've seen this guy on the World Series of Poker before so it really seems like if you have the skills to win a shitload of money gambling legitimately you wouldn't risk everything by cheating:

    Healthy Faber > Healthy Brown

And what's this shit about Cruz being a gimp?

Never in my life have I heard someone say TWO wins were flukey and still insist one fighter is better than someone who beat them twice. Wow , X .

I suppose Chael is really better than Silva also. The first win was a fluke because Sonnen dominated the first four rounds and the second fight was a fluke because Chael got hit with an illegal knee.

No. He's looked great. Finished Mizugaki, Jorgensen and Menjivar. Dominated Alcantara. Fucking crushed Bowles.
