Just watched some vids and I still think Gustafsson has the edge here. However, I think Mousasi has a better chance than I was giving him. Ultimately, I see Gustafsson tiring Mousasi out and being able to get him down and win rounds. I think it goes the decision and Gustafasson takes it. I won't bet Gustafasson -260 though.

Mitrione should be able to win on the feet but I would not rule out a win by De Fries. If he commits to the takedown and can avoid getting caught (and exhausted) I think he has a legit chance at getting the decision or submission win. There is no way I'd lay something like -200 on Mitrione which is where I think he will be...or worse.

I'm too lazy to look at the rest of the fights because they are all foreigners that only get air time on foreign prelim cards for the most part

I was wonderng about that. I dont think pearson should be a -400 fav. Couture did decently against kj noons and noons isnt that bad. He has takedown defense comparable to pearson and striking comparable to pearson.

I like mitrione over de fries. De fries hasnt really impressed me but you make a good point about the wrestling. If he just comes to lean on mitrione he might be able to pull something off. I think kongo had trouble doing that though.

Rafael natal was able to take down kuiper. I think lawlor should be able to do the same.

I wonder how michael johnson reza madadi will go down. I thought johnsons takedown defense was good until he might myles jury. After that i domt know what to think. Mezas game is all about the grappling. That cristiano marcello guy beat medadi and he really didnt look that good against the korean guy. He swung a bunch of haymakers and attempted some shitty takedowns.

Reza is a swedish wrestli champion. I read this artle written by luke thomas that was an interview with chael sonnen. They spoke about wrestling and how it translated into mma. He said a lot of styles didnt translate well because they werent centered around the takedown. I bet rezas style is one of those because because chael mentioned Stanislav nedkov as a very acco plished wrestler that couldnt make his wrestling translate.

I rewatched De Fries last fight against duffee and he did take duffee down. His td looked decent and i wont be surprised to see him take Mitrione down. Not too sure about his cardio if it goes into the third round tho.

Yeah, I think De Fries is worth a play at around ~+300. He sucks so you can't go big on him, but a decent grappler may have a good chance at beating Mitrione. Mitrione is just a very athletic HW with good power.
