I was more referring to six parlay losses for a total of a .38 unit loss.

I've noticed that parlays are a funny thing. Some people make it a primary component of their betting strategy . . . others think it's a sucker bet.

Becxause i usually only do the big parlays when the lines are too steep to bet straight. If i dont like the line, i shouldnt bet it straight or in a parlay.

If you have 5dimes you can get reduced juice which you can only use for straight plays

I used to think it was a gimmick, and to some extent it is just a way for the book to trick you into betting more... but it is mathmatically no different than a straight bet. It fools the mind into thinking "hey I can get -200 for these twp bets!" but really, once you won the first bet, that is your money and you made the decision to make an oversized bet on number 2. I still do it though because I am a sucker.
