Fine, I'll answer my own question.
I wonder if we're going to see Bellator pick up more and more ex-UFC guys. I guess right now there are basically two options if you get cut/leave the UFc: Bellator and WSOF. It will be interesting to see who goes where.
But I have to say, I'm pretty surprised about Kongo. He's been with the UFC forever and still wins frequently enough to where there's no reason for them to want to get rid of him. And it seems strange that Kongo would want to go to a smaller promotion unless either a) they're offering him a lot more money (don't know why they would) or b) he's just that desperate to get a belt before retiring.
