Ive been looking over Fitchs record in the ufc and one thing I noticed is he really didn't fight a lot of wrestlers. He fought Mike Pierce when he was green and only won two of the rounds. Paulo Thiago beat took one round off him as well.

I think every promotion should have championships. I still think it's meaningful. I mean, we have a local promotion here and if I met some dude who was the WW champ or something then I would assume the dude can beat some ass.

Besides, the WSOF is quickly becoming the new Strikeforce. If they can survive another few years and keep growing then they'll be on the SF/Bellator level.

SD had Fitch at #6 before this fight so you could definitely argue that Burkman is somewhere in the top 10 now. If nothing else, he's earned a shot to see what he can do in the UFC.
