If Matt Hughes ever comes out of retirement, the fight will have meaning. And any Anderson Silva fight--ever--will have meaning.

Tito and Rampage are in the same category. And besides, it's not like they're not still both very capable fighters. Granted, they're not at the top of the division, but there are guys who would get slaughtered by either who are out there winning fights in professional MMA contests.
eh, I guess it has meaning to their individual legacies. But it definitely doesn't "mean" anything to MMA as a whole. It isn't interesting at all, and you're not going to buy the PPV. I guess I should have said "relevance" rather than meaning. They're not actually excited about it, and it is cringeworthy to me watching them try to face off like this is a big deal.

I agree that Bader is underrated.

If they are going to pull off a PPV, they need Chandler, Askren, and Mo on it too IMO. Those guys are legit current top talent, and they are going to have to put everything up if they hope to have a PPV worth buying. I mean, only 1M people wattch their free shows, so I have no idea why they think people are going to buy a PPV.
Yeah I kinda felt bad for Tito.

Let the record show that Bellator has officially jumped the shark.

That said, this is pretty good marketing. I cant hate at all.

All I'm doing is hating. Maybe it will work to pull the crossover pro wrestling fans into a PPV for Bellator, but I kinda doubt it. I can't even watch that, I don't understand how you guys can sit through wrestling with a straight face. I just can't look directly at it without being embarrassed for everyone involved.

Well it's two legends in the sport fighting each other for the first time. Both are past their prime, but they're both still skilled guys. It's not like if Royce and Severn had a rematch today.

As for the PPV, if I was in the sort of financial position where I was paying for UFC PPVs then I'm sure I'd go ahead and drop the cash for this one, too.

I doubt Rampage really gives a shit, but I bet Tito thinks this is a legit chance to get back into the MMA spotlight and get his career back on track. I'd like to hear some comments about why exactly he's fighting though, because he did officially retire after the Forest fight.

                        BOL, I fucking love it!!!

TNA is great and this Bellator/TNA alliance is unlike anything the UFC is doing so I appreciate the originality of it. Two thumbs up. I haven't watched TNA for a couple of months. I need to get back on that shit.

Well, we've been through this. I still stand by the "soap opera for men" interpretation.

                              BOL. Really? Why?

I saw one live wrestling event, a local USWA card in Memphis. They had a talent sharing deal with the WWE (back when it was still the WWF) and the Undertaker and Sid Vicious wrestled. The Taker was always my favorite so of course I thought it was cool as shit.
