I really don't see it. He arguably lost again Pierce and KOS. Think he's getting too much credit for beating Condit , something that any wrestler could do

I hear ya. I think Pierce and Kos was more a clash of styles, so they kind of cancelled each others strengths out.

I just have a hunch that this will be the guy that will beat GSP.

He's Matt Serra with takedown defense. A short powerful guy that is not afraid to step in the pocket and throw down. He can land on GSP, he probably can't win a wrestling match and he definitely isn't going to win a kickboxing match. But he has the best shot of anyone to land a shot, because he is one of the few guys that can keep it standing with GSP for at least much of the fight. I think we are going to see a lot of fence pressing.

GSP is probably going to do his thing with the jab. Really there is no rational reason to think Hendricks is going land on him when no one else does... but like you, I just feel GSP's time is about up. Hendricks needs to throw caution to the wind and make it ugly though. He's not going to out gameplan GSP and he isn't as skilled.

That's a lot of the reason I don't think he wins.....because him and KOS are so much alike. I could see GSP just standing on the outside and picking Johny apart for 5 rounds like he did KOS. Sure, Hendricks has power but that's his only chance of winning and that percentage will get lower and lower as each round rolls by.....but I am wrong alot so.....

Hendricks also showed in the condit fight that he isnt afraid of getting into a firefight and going toe to toe. I think maybe thats why we all think he has a shot here.
