UFN 32: Dan Henderson vs Vitor Belfort

Lucas martins looked like absolute shit againdt jeremy larsen. He came back and beat ramiro hernandez impressively but im not sure that means much. I am most worried about his size but that can probably be neutralized by what i think is johnny eduardos superior striking and solid defensive grappling.1 unit = 300 $Comment

I think two good fights for predicting the main event are: Hendo vs. Vitor 1, and Hendo vs. Rua.
In the first fight, Henderson took a fairly easy decision over Vitor using top control wrestling. He's been moving away from that lately, and he will be fighting in a cage instead of a ring, but it's still a weakness of Vitor's and I don't think Hendo will have forgotten.
Rua is about as good a proxy for Vitor as you're going to get: comparable (high level) striking, good jiu-jitsu, weak TDD, questionable cardio in a tough fight. Of course, Henderson won this by decision as well. Cardio played a major role in that fight, and it's too hard to predict how that will turn out tonight, but I think it's worth noting how Henderson was able to take each of the first three rounds on points with his striking and clinch work. (Also like Rua, I could see Vitor taking Hendo down on occasion if Hendo doesn't do it to him first.)Comment

I agree for the most part. Vitor was also taken down by Rumble (ref saved him) and Jones. But I also think Vitor's striking is a lot better than Shogun's at this point in their careers. Hendo has never really been a guy to get one punched though.2012: +19.33

That's true. I'd say he's a little closer to a pre-injury version of Rua.Comment
