I like Rampage, Chandler, Pat curran and I have to watch some tape on Akop Stepanyan. Hes a Russian national kickboxing and tae kwon do champion. His opponent is mike richman. Richman has a much better record in bellator but I think this will play out on the feet where stepanyan will have the edge.1 unit = 300 $Comment

I think Pat curran will handle Daniel Strauss. As far as I know Curran as legit takedown defense and should be the superior striker.
I don't know much about the rest of the card with the exception of one other fight. Akop Stepanyan vs Mike Richman. I watched 4 of mike richmans fights today and 2 of stepanyans fights. I also saw stepanyans fights against Marlon Sandro. I will break them down for everyone.
Akop vs Marlon Sandro: Basically Sandro kept pushing Akop up against the fence. Akop would have gotten the decision if it weren't for a point deduction he incurred for grabbing the fence. I had money on Sandro and I was shitting my pants during the fight because Akop was doing a lot of spinning back kicks. Akop is a taekwando and kickboxing champ.
Akop vs Chris Saunders: Pretty much the whole fight was on the feet. Saunders tried and failed to take him down a couple of times. Akop outstruck Saunders for the entire fight right up until the end when he knocked Saunders out. Spinning back kick plus punches.
Akop vs Wilcox: Akop dominated Wilcox for the first round with his striking plus takedown defense. In the second round Wilcox got a takedown and Akop tried to stand and gave up his back. Wilcox choked him out pretty quickly.
Richamn vs Shahbulat Shamhalaev: Shabulat is a really good striker. A muay thai champion. Basically the traded shots for a two minutes with Shabulat getting the better of the exchanges and then Richman got knocked out.
Richamn vs Mitch Jackson: Richman beat the crap outta Jackson from beginning to end of the first round.
Richamn vs Alexandre Bezerra: Richman was outgrappled for the entire first round, back taken and all. Second round all richman outstriking Bezerra. Third round a combination of the first two rounds. Richman was the better striker and he tagged Bezerra multiple times.
Richman vs Frodo Khasbulaev: Three round war with Frodo attacking and looking like a wild caveman. Richman spent most of the time countering. Close fight but Frodo won it.
My take on Richman is he has a lot of power standing and pretty good technique. He didn't really use any offensive wrestling in any of the fights that I saw. His defensive wrestling is pretty good.
Akop has really good standup. Pretty solid takedown defense and what I think is a pretty shitty Jiu jitsu game.
I don't see Richman taking Akop down. Wilcox had enough trouble for five minutes and he is a really big wrestler. I think theres a chance Richman can knock out Akop but I only see it happening if Akop is really sloppy or Richman just gets lucky. I think Akop is the far superior striker and should win this one.
I am hoping Akop comes out as the dog and I think he might. Richman is 4 and 2 in bellator with 3 knock out wins. Akop is 1 and 3 with two stoppage losses. Probably going to put a decent amount on Akop if he comes in +175 or so. Akop has been getting beaten by grapplers and Richman is a striker.1 unit = 300 $Comment
