No. I just watched Carmont fight today. He should have received loses for the Lawlor and Larkin fights . If not for those fights Souza would be -900 . Dont think he stands a chance.

I just watched carmont vs lawlor and it was damn close. I don't think Carmont would have won if the ref wasn't constantly breaking them up whenever lawlor got ahold of him. He was most lucky there.

Finished Carmont vs larkin. I thought it was pretty close as well. He has definitely gotten lucky in his decisions. One thing I've noticed is he gets caught in a lot of submission attempts. He scrapes by and survives them but obviously Jacare would make that much more difficult. I also noticed that a large amount of his striking game is his kicks. I don't see how he will be able to use them as effectively against Souza because he will not want to leave himself open to the takedown. Lawlor landed on him with his hands and Larkin was clearly outstriking him. Jacare should be able to do decently on the feet and really dominate him if he gets him to the ground. Carmonts defensive wrestling is pretty decent though so it could be difficult for him to do that.

If it weren't for the Okami fight, I might have been tempted to bet Carmont, but Jacare's striking has improved a lot.
