Brandon “The Truth” Vera has found a new home.
After posting an 8-7 record with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, the 36-year-old Alliance MMA representative had his UFC contract terminated on June 18.
On Sunday in a post from its official Twitter account, Asia’s most prestigious mixed martial arts promotion announced that it had signed the San Diego, Calif.,-based fighter to an agreement.

A tweener capable of competing at 205 pounds or above, Vera (12-7) was last seen at UFC 164, where he was stopped by Ben Rothwell in a heavyweight contest. As of publication time it is uncertain when Vera will debut for One FC or in which weight class, but the promotion’s next event will hail from Dubai, U.A.E., on Aug. 29.
