The idea is she wins despite him. Her striking is as rudimentary as ever. She wins with throws, armbars, and raw athleticism/physicality. Things she knew a long time ago. Nobody else he trains every does anything.

I disagree that her striking is "as rudimentary as ever." When she first started she could not strike for shit. She basically used strikes the same way Royce used to use front kicks. Now she's got one of the very few straight-up out-cold KOs I've ever seen in WMMA.

And this isn't to say that her striking is great, but to not give her credit for the improvements that have been made is wrong.

I don't agree with any of that. The only difference seems to be she realized she can punch hard. She looked awful against Correia she just outgunned her and out chinned her, and obviously she looked putrid against Holm.

However, I don't blame her for sticking with him. Apparently, he trains her for free.
