    NYK Bellator 182

Turning Stone Resort Casino - Verona, New York - Spike TV
    Friday, August 25

    Brennan Ward -105

Coming off a brutal KO loss to Paul Daley, Ward will be looking to get back on track and avoid back-to-back losses for the second time in his career. He is a very balanced fighter, great striker with knockout power mixed in with excellent wrestling with viscous ground and pound. Besides having a considerable advantage on the canvas, Ward will also enjoy a 7 inch reach advantage. Gonzalez struggled with the length of Michael Page in his most recent loss, and I believe he will struggle with it once again Friday night. This is a fight Ward should be able to control either forcing a stoppage or wearing down Gonzalez over time pulling off a decision

      Just an FYI ...

Chidi Njokuani missed weight for his welterweight headliner against former champ Andrey Koreshkov. Njokuani came in at 175. Koreshkov was on target at 171 with the one-pound non-title fight allowance.

Bellator 182 will mark the sixth time in the past six years that Njokuani has either missed weight or been in a catchweight bout north of the welterweight limit.

Fernando Gonzalez wins by submission after losing the 1st and 2nd rounds

Ward was cruising then out of nowhere gets caught and taps in the blink of an eye

Wagering on these minor league fighters can be so frustrating
