Anyone at 108 in Vegas?

I was so tempted to drive down to Vegas this weekend. Tickets seem to be pretty cheap for this one... have seen tickets for around 50. I went to 100 in July and loved the atmosphere of a live event.

Just wondering how the weekend is going down there. I guess it's still not too late for me to go :)

I live in Salt Lake, so I'm only about 6 hours away, so I intend to get down there at some point.

I've only been in the area for a few years though, and I've never been to Vegas at all at this point. The first time I go I'd like to do the whole nine yards and catch a UFC and also have money left over for the casinos.

Salt Lake, eh? I'm up in Park City! :) Small world.

It's fun. I went to UFC 100 in July. Stayed for 3 days. It was beyond fun. I saw a ton of fighters at Mandalay Bay, rode the elevator with Clay Guida and Shogun.

I recommend it. Even a card like 108 would be fun with all the stuff going on. Something about watching it live.

The only problem is the weekend. New Years jacked up the prices to the hotel. It's about 150-200 for gas. Another 200 for hotel. I saw tickets for 50-100.. plus spending money and Blackjack... just wound up being a little to expensive for this particular card.

Small world, indeed!

One day I intend to get down there for sure. It's all about getting the money together. I'm poor, so not a lot of money laying around for Vegas trips.

Well this is sweet. A friend had an extra free ticket (from a Dana giveaway). Wife and I are heading down bright and early tomorrow. That should be fun.
