Good to know we got us a boxing expert on hear. Although I don't think I followed you on your unit. Are you saying your unit size depends on the fight or game, but you always bet to win $100?

He and I had to go through this when I first started posting here.

If it's a favorite, he bets to win $100. So if the line is -150, then he bets $150 to win $100. If he bets "2 units" then he's betting to win $200, so for -150 he'd be betting $300.

If it's a dog, then he bets $100 to win whatever the line promises. So for +150 he bets $100 to win $150.

Zak does the same thing. They don't think of units and bankroll in the same way that most of us do.

Zak and Luke, correct me if I'm wrong on something here.

I will try to keep that in mind when reading you guys of bets.

As for Mosley, one of my poker students is an ex-boxer and he said the same thing about Mosley's line should be more like -400 than -210. I thinking about making a 4.25u play to cleat 2 full units. I think that would be the most value I'd try to squeeze out of this one, my unit size is $225 on every bet. And will be until I can increase to whatever a 2% of my roll would be then. Hopefully that will be soon.
