If Thiago can KO Kos, then so can Daley.

If Daley can KO Hazelett, then he can KO Kos.

Kos is the favorite but I wouldn't go crazy on this one. Odds will have to be pretty good. Far from "free money" in my opinion.

Thiago has way better takedown defense than Daley, and also a decent ground game. Also everyone forgets that Kos took that fight on like 2 weeks notice.

KOing Hazelett is not = to KO ing Kos. By that logic Kos can KO Hazelett (which he did) therefore he can KO Daley.

Kos has good enough striking to survive a few seconds, and he will take him down and wear him out. I am going to bet alot on this fight, as I think the public is enamoured with Daley, who is totally totally overrated. I don't even think he is top 20. Kos is a clear top 5 ww.

I'm not saying it's a bad bet, but believe me, if Daley connects then Kos is going to have a lot of problems. Also, Daley's takedown different is actually a lot better than people give him credit for. Go watch Daley VS Alessio to see his TD defense in action.

What you mean when he got picked up then grabbed the ropes to avoid getting slammed? Or when he got taken down anyways and held down the rest of the round? Actually, watching that fight reminds me of just how overrated Paul Daley is. That and the Nick Thompson fight where he gets outstruck and loses a decision.

Besides, John Alessio =/= Josh Koscheck.

Make no mistake, Josh Koscheck can take Paul Daley down.

Well the argument didn't really center around whether or not Kos will win, but rather on whether betting on Kos essentially equals "free money." That basically means that Daley has no chance and that's what I took issue with.

When I think free money, I think Mousasi VS Goodridge . . . I don't think a fight in which one fighter, though an underdog, still has a very legitimate chance of winning.

Free money is Chris Arreola -Vitali Klitschko .A fight that was won 10 rounds to 0 and Vitali was never ,ever in danger.

The fact KOS has been KTFO by Paulo Thiago is enough to get me to say its not free money

I'm pretty sure the free money thing was hyperbole. Based on how hyped up Daley has become in such a short amount of time, and expecting the odds to reflect as much.

I actually dislike Daley and want him shut down. He's got a big fucking mouth. He called Condit a pussy and said he was trying to duck him and, from what I hear, was very disrespectful toward Hazellet in the post-fight press conference.

But he guy has talent and is worthy of his name Semtex. In terms of pure striking, he's one of the very best, and I do believe that he has better TD defense than you give him credit for.

Seriously go watch his fight with Nick Thompson just LAST YEAR where he gets outjabbed for 3 rounds and loses a decision. Sure he's got knockout power but the guy is so overrated it's ridiculous.

I watched that fight while doing research for his fight with Hazelett. Yeah, he lost that fight, but mainly because of Thompson's reach and nothing more. When you're 5'9" it can be hard to get inside on a guy who's over 6 feet tall. I remember when I watched that fight I couldn't believe they were even in the same weight class. Thompson looked so much bigger.
