Yeah that was pretty much all of us in here.

I was definitely concerned.

On the other hand, even though I had a mega-bet on Mayweather (5u is pretty much my max and very rare for me considering it's about 10% of my bankroll), there was a small part of me that would've been cool with seeing Mayweather get knocked the fuck out.

I'm not saying I wanted it. It would've been a substantial setback for me.

But it was kind of like seeing Melendez tool Aoki even though I had a bet on Aoki. As a fan, it was what I wanted to see more. The satisfaction of knowing Aoki will now have to shut the fuck up about the superiority of Japanese MMA and has been humbled a bit is worth losing a unit in the long run.

I have this same sentiment all the time. The fan in me supports one outcome while my wallet supports another. In those fights, it makes it a little easier to lose...

Even though I bet on Cain to beat Nog, I would have been almost as happy if Nog would have won. I almost would have paid the 5 units I had on Hughes to see Renzo submit him.

I can understand where you guys are coming from. I hate losing, but when a guy I like wins, It takes the sting off just a bit.

I made micro bets on every fight on that card... I also had Bisping to beat Wand and a couple others. I was just testing out a different system (betting every fight to win 1u).

it went ok, I did it several events in a row, and I was consistently coming out ahead... but I just do better with picking fewer fights and making bigger bets on those fights. But it did encourage me to start taking more dogs.

It's a double edged sword. It takes some of the sting out of losing the bet, but the fact that you even had a bet out there keeps you from being as happy about your guy winning as you would if you hadn't bet against him.

Now Manny-Mayweather can probaby do 2.5 million buys but not this fight.The numbers are a little lower than I figured .I was guessing 1.5 million from this fight
