The highly anticipated Strikeforce Challengers Thread!
Re: The highly anticipated Strikeforce Challengers Thread!
If Cormier opens -400, I will probably drop another unit on Galvao.
Even with only 4 fights, Galvao has already beaten better competition that Stewart. He submitted Alessio. IMO he beat High, but got screwed by the Japanese judges.
Re: The highly anticipated Strikeforce Challengers Thread!
My good friend Mike Hammersmith showed up in another of my threads yesterday and said he thinks that Miesha Tate is criminally undervalued at her current price. He does sometimes make some good picks so I'm thinking of parlaying her with Galvao.

I think he is way too tight with his lines, but I do get a lot out of his breakdowns. His UFC 111 breakdown is up at mmamafia
I don't know anything about women's mma (nor do I care to) so I can't tell you about Meisha Tate.

You should get him over here. He seems like he does know his shit, and he does some good analysis.

And Kampmann was "unlikely to win" against Volkmann.
I actually said some shit to him about that when he popped up in my thread the other day and his response was: "Just because a bet pans out doesn't mean it was a smart bet. . ."
